BAN-BAN-BANBAN-BANGGGGGGG!!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y_JBHXb4_k#t=5m BANG (Dora) vs Jin (supu)

This is good to hear at least. From your opinion, he has 3 bad match-ups and 3 good matchups, making him seem pretty balanced. I hope he gets better though, seeing as how good the top characters so far are, combo and damage-wise.

Those were some really nice matches. Supu showed some nice pressure/mixup game and seeing kaqn beat a ragna feels, well, weird. But still good to see some jin wins!

I think I asked this also on the video but I am also going to ask here

on this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YapsLANFtc

what is that red thing that happening with hazama breaking jin's guard is that a command throw or is it some move that he does from jasetsu form?

in any case I think it breaks the guard too, I am asking what can we do to counter it as jin,

if it's just a throw I think we can just not get too close I guess, or if it is a command throw I wonder if just ducking will prevent that move to hit.

oh and I see that people don't really have a good follow ups for the fatal in most of those videos

and I think fatal have a less combo proration calculation on top of the 2 frames advantages I am not sure about this though.

Mixing a distortion into a fatal is also good I think, that hazama can do like almost 5k damage by doing double distortion after the jayoku fatal, I think jin can do almost the same amount of damage too utilizing hiyoku getsumei and air combo.

Considering the speed of 2C now, I wonder too if it's good for okizeme game.

^^ I believe that's a command throw.

Taken from the "Hazama Complete Guide":

Gasaishou (236C): Hazama performs a short-ranged command throw that staggers the opponent, allowing for a 5B combo. Invincible in the latter part of the move, but the proration is bad.

Thanks Moi,

I also notice there's no fixed or staple air combo now for jin

I think the best air combo thus far is done by ren, he can always maximize his damage and end it gracefully. he has no real staple though, just doing custom air combo most of the time.

a lot of Ren newest video from Neba looks really good also, I wonder why he can defeat a lot of those people quite easily, do you think his play style is much more aggressive now?

he won the NEBA too right?? I think seeing Xemnas' video

These are the Ren's video from Xemnas at NEBA:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBc652gjvGw -> nice use of yukikaze here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA6hwZbpsjI -> he defeated that arakune in less than a minute wow

a lot of good air combo also here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvXHA5_6dAU -> this is the only time he has any problem I think with that hazama. he utilized the burst also to wrap out the round

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4z-3OiorFM -> final against bang, I thought he was going to lose

in that 2nd round, but he managed to pull it off, also the first round feels like a slaughter.

From watching a good Jin player yesterday, I'd say jB jC JC j2C 214C is a good staple. On most situations, it leads to knockdown and 3k~ dmg, just like old times. If freeze is available, then anything into jD -> 214C will do.

to any of those who's tried the C mash combo, how do you do it so that the last hit that juggles hits? i've been song 6b after 2d with a dash cancel, but every time that oh so important hit never comes and i just leave myself open

maybe you're C mashing to much or to little... I don't know though

Sekkajin 8th hit that will launch the opponent, so make sure you mash C for 8 times

and now you can follow up with 6C after that

The trick I use is to listen for the whacking sounds and stop mashing after the sixth, that seems to be the best guarantee that I won't add extra hits, since they come out two at a time.

... or you could learn how many slashes each C does and time it... or watch the combo meter, though that's risky because you may have hit it to many times... but whatever works, it works

Practice is all there is to is, with time you'll learn just exactly when to stop mashing C without relying on watching the combo count or listening to the sound effects.

eventhough it's a counter hit if the distance is far enough, 6C won't connect. so that 6C would only works on that very short distance I think. just 1 dash cancel
