Something like eight people total. Tales brought Evil Zone. We played it for something like ten minutes, and then we decided we'd rather play something of a much higher quality - Inuyasha*. Other than that, a fair bit of Melty and Guilty, marred by the fact that we had maybe four sticks between the lot of us (fuck my stick for being a broken-wire piece of shit. Mindgame fix it up! ). * no, I'm not saying Inuyasha is amazing; it's fun, but not that great. Evil Zone is just that bad. Almost as bad as Sonic the Fighters. Also, FYI guys - due to Uprising being this coming Saturday I'm not going to be at BG Friday. I'm not (quite) that insane (yet). Also, I hear spooky is gonna at uprising. Oh crap time to get serious Melty-style!

Fraga Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I have a question for everywhere, if we reboot a 3S scene would everyone like it? Not so much run tournaments but just make a casual scene for it? Since Tales finally got into it (Alex/Oro), I'm relearning it (Elena/Ibuki) and I know it has a great respect among us (Like kona (Chun/Elena), Why/Mike (Q), etc). So what if we started doing more casuals for it? Anyone up to it? (Chun-li and Yun can suck it) That being said I'd also like everyone to try Wonderful World as well, as it's basically a Free Guilty Gear for the computer. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?9010-Wonderful-World This is the WanWan DL Page, and videos are there to watch. Currently Myself, Tales, Cheese, and Furok all play. Give it a shot. The reason I'm asking is because there are several games some people have started playing [again], such as Wonderful World and 3S. So I was looking at possibly expanding what we play instead of the normal Top 3 (MB, SSF4, GGAC). And if anyone wants to learn a game or try it we'd at least have some basic knowledge on said games.
Vyers Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I'd be up to play it casually once in a while, but I never got deep into the game (Yun and parries piss me off). Another possibility is 2nd impact. The game has better music, awesome post battle illustrations, and is supposedly more balanced then 3rd strike. The major downsides are no one knows it, there are fewer characters, and Urien doesn't sound as cool.

kona Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I'm down for bringing back and playing 3S. Currently repping Chun and Elena. I kinda know how to play Ken, Akuma, and Hugo. I wanna learn Urien. But I kinda don't want 3S to take away from our current games (SSF4, BBCS, GGAC, MB, etc). I'm sure if we can balance it out, I think we could do it alright. Also, that SA1 OTG to another SA1 will absolutely NOT happen to me. XD Just be warned though, once BBCS hits stateside, almost all of my attention will be focused on CS so I take everybody's money with Lambda.
