Although I felt bad for my partner, poor guy was having a bad day but he still did a great job and some of his advice really helped me...too bad I had got stuck up against Dabbit twice. Once in the first round and again in the losers bracket. Awful matchups for me with 2 Lambdas and Arakune. I can't believe I managed to beat those Lambdas I guess I was just so used to getting my ass handed to me by Goryus that I assumed it was always gonna be a hard match. But I had a hell of a time playing qwerty's Haku. That was a damn good match. Are the videos gonna be put up anytime soon? I've never actually watched myself play, I wouldn't be surprised if I found some problems just by watching myself. Of course i'm awful so i'd probably find tons of problems with my Tager...

I feel like I played much lower than my own expectations and put that much more stress on my teammate, and that got me down, but after all that the casuals were just that much more fun; lol at epic Coopa 720s! Despite how I looked, I still enjoyed having the team experience. There's so many people coming out of the woodwork that I've never seen before, and it makes me excited to be able to play some fresh perspectives. I also haven't participated in a team tourney for... years ago. I just need to find the time to play more and stop dropping combos. Shout outs to my Tager partner, as well as Dabbit (Why is this guy always my first round?), Juice for driving down and hosting (lol GirlsVSButlers is a serious drama), Renegade (Didn't Play much with you this time around), Coopa (Technika dancing and 720 posing), and the rest of the familiar crew. Good games guys, see you on the 27th, and happy V-day. ~Chun

Would've been great if one more person came on time so I could've had a teammate. :| I played CS a total of two times today. Renegade, why didn't you play Hazama? I heard your Hazama is really solid, but your Ragna is combos only and no basic gameplay fundamentals. ;( Results will be up tomorrow.

But its all good, everyone has a bad day. You can get revenge in 2 weeks! In case you didn't notice Chun, I was your partner. I'm relatively new to the forums so I'm not surprised no one recognizes me. Although I feel slightly stalker-ish cause I can pick out a majority of the other players there (mainly the mods...and I even know most of they're names too.) and no one even knows my damn name due to my shyness issues. And I personally think Renegade should've used Tager. His Tager is just evil and I was hoping to get a rematch against him since I've been learning a few tricks due to my vast amount of free time...

I usually play better with my Ragna! Though... I don't know what happened last night. Haha. Oh well. As for Hazama.. just didn't feel ready with him yet. Figured Ragna would get me far, but I played like a scrub and got my ass handed by Dabbit in the end. But yeah, I'll probably use the other two next time.

Yeah i'm glad that the mods on Dustloop in real life are actually nice people and willing to help. Some of the other forums I've been on the mods are kinda stuck up. I had a good talk with Goryus about how to deal with Lambdas and now thats one of my easiest matchups except against Goryus himself. Played against 3 of them at the tournament(well technically 2, but I played the same guy twice) But yeah, I'm gonna find some extra help and get ready to kick some ass in 2 weeks. I'm shooting for higher than 7th this time. Hope more people go though just to make it that much more fun and competitive.

I don't know what happened last night. Haha. Oh well. One particular match I noticed was you vs Ginseng's Tsubaki. You were in the in air 90% of the time and you didn't need to be at all. The reason why that match up is so heavily in Ragna's favor (6.5 last I checked) is because his normals completely dominate her... but only if he's on the ground. His ground normals rape all of her options, and 6A destroys all her approaches from the air. There really isn't any need for Ragna to be in the air in his match up unless he's jumping in or comboing Tsubaki.

YES, I did lose, but they weren't that one sided. GGs everyone! That tourny was so much fun. Gratz to Calvin on coming in second!
