And John, I srsly need some input (Along with jeff) on my execution on stick. I remember you saying I mashed super (THE TIME WHEN YOU TOLD ME TO RANDOM SUPER ), and my execution was god awful. I finally got a SE stick so i'm practicing what I should be doing.

SE sticks are fucking awful. Mod that shit ASAP with Sanwa parts. Should be easy too since it's just plug-n-play. Should cost around $40 to mod.

I bought a SE stick for BBCT on 360, and the fierce button stopped working 100% within the first few days.

The SF4 Standard Edition sticks are subpar, but replacing the buttons and stick isn't expensive. If you ask for my humble opinion, I would've recommended you go with a HRAP or TE.

I recommend you work on your muscle memory. The taunt loop timing is different for each character, so it's imperative you start nailing execution. If you don't have that, then you'll need to think of other ways to bring out your potential damage.

Execution has always been my - greatest - weakness in any fighting game. I would suggest you find out what you're best at and polish it while fortifying your weaknesses. If you want my personal opinion, then I think you have a decent understanding of Tao's mobility. But you're forming a terrible habit where you're mashing the buttons to hit confirm and, I dare say, that is one of your weaknesses.

I'm loving the turnout for the 2v2...Either way I'll be there since saturdays are always empty for me anyways. If we can knockout the tourney within 1-2 hours, we could just have BS troll matches after for all of youtube to see!!

Yeah.. I figured as much. As my first default stick, I was expecting the cabinet feeling, but then the stick was like.. meh, and the BUTTONS are just complete garbage trash. I'm thinkin of ghettojacking those spare buttons under the board at the SVGL cabinet LOL... thats just asking for trouble

The stick itself I'm staying with. I already bought it anyways, and the TE stick is like 6 pounds and is a size of a desk. Again, a motorcycle is hell with a desk on your back T^T

I obviously am rushing the joystick input, because I'm either A)Sending then too high, and can't go past the thrid rep, and B)my 214d's still fail to come out. I can't super worth my life either. So I think i really need some like special ed help with my left hand ... seriously.

My strength has always been crossups. But thats such a risky game against people who understand tao's crossup game that it depends on if the opponent understands Tao more than if they are any good skillwise for me to beat them. A lot of people have been pointing out I've been picking up your habits. I dunno if thats good or not , CH j.c -> combo's is all from matchin up/watching you :/

As for the hit confirm mashing (I suppose you're talking about the drive cancels?), yeah, I'm not gonna drop that habit any time soon. It does affect my game a lot, like you see me constantly do like a j.4d and hit them with a b~cancel, and sometimes if i miss time it i'll bounce off, and do a j.b. I really dont know what i can do about that.

Maybe you gotta take a ruler and like smack my hand every time I mash. Like those asshole piano teachers.
