Whoa, that Pre-Reg looks good; I like it. I'll make a note of people who pre-reg to get priorities in getting byes for future ranbats. :3

As the guy running MBAA, I just want to say that Melty entrants will only get special treatment if 1. they have points and/or 2. there are multiple out-of-region entrants, who I feel should be separated. I just dislike the idea of rewarding people for, what I consider to be, a negligible reason.

Besides, it makes my job easier. I like randomizing everyone, but the seeds. =P

To address any possible downtime or inaccessibility issues with tsubasa.nu, I've mirrored the prereg form on another site. If you've already preregged, there's no need to prereg again so don't!

Ah thank you! Registered now! Don't know why I registered...I'm just gonna fail with my scrubby Chipp:vbang:

But I will bring water again, some chips and probably some ginger ale or something like 7Up for Rod incase his stomach decides to betray him again.

Hey I can bring a set up for GGAC or MBAA. TV, extension cord, ps2, surge protector etc.

Also next time, we should do prereg and include something that lets people put down what they can bring in terms of tvs, consoles, cords etc.

I can also give some folks a ride from Santa Clara to Hayward, and back to Santa Clara. I will head back to Santa Clara around midnight to 1am, in all likely hood. PM me for details, I may very well ask you to meet me at Santa Clara Caltrain, to make the burden on me lesser.

Wait, is the venue going to be open that late?

*to lessen the burden on me

I was thinking about including setups in the prereg form but I was like eh... I could create a separate form for setups or just manually keep track of it. Good question on the closing time of the venue, that one keeps escaping me. I'll ask.

OK we are nearing the weekend of the event finally but I need to know what the situation is on setups.

Tell me what you can bring ASAP, we need the following.

CRTs AKA FAT TELEVISIONS THAT DONT LAG, PS2s, copies of GGAC and MBAA, extension cords, power strips(aka surge protectors I guess)

I don't know what the situation was on extension cords last time so this part is URGENT.

The venue already has one TV and one american PS2 at the venue.

People that can bring TV+PS2 afaik, needs confirmation.

GGAC: qwerty, magz, ???

MBAA: Tone, DJcream, Tsubasa

On how late we can stay, it seems that everything should be over by 9~10 so how many casuals you will be able to get in will depend on how many setups the community will be able to bring! We will have time for casuals but not as much as last time.

If you don't show up on time, then we're starting without you. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! So if you are going to be late, then call Dakanya or Tsubasa. :kitty:

Shouldn't be a problem for me. I have spring break so no Sat classes this time :/

So how is the BBQ working? Is there already enough stuff for everyone or should the players attending bring something if possible? If we need it, I could grab a couple things so long as people tell me what they want. Can't be hype on an empty stomach right?!

We'll be providing burgers, we're just gonna go to Food4Less or Costco or something. If you want something else like hot dogs, bring it!

So, what is the deal with people who want to go but not participate in the ranbat? Do these people need to preregister or pay venue fees? I'm asking because I want to go just to spectate matches and maybe get a few gg casuals in.

we'll still take people at the door given that we have enough space but you should prereg and enter the ranbat anyways! also more fools like magz need to prereg. you will have to pay the venue fee for just being there.

As much as we don't want to charge venue fees, we are paying for the space and service. But the person, who is hosting for us, is offering a complimentary bbq + refreshments. Would you pay $4 dollars for two big macs or straight-off-the-grill hot dogs n' hamburgers? This does not include the, good-willed, people who are donating some refreshments.

Dakanya and Tsubasa still need TV and ps2 setups. If you can bring them, If you want to see Shaq-fu side tournaments; if you want to mash 'candy' bets against a, sober, Rod; if you, simply, like to Smash some GGAC/MBAA/ST Turbo casuals with a plumber who stuffs his mouth with mushrooms until his cheeks puff-ball spam; then I implore you to post your butt off and bring setups.

...the ranbats will not work without you guys.

^ I need confirmation on setups. At this point I am assuming that we will have six TVs... but it is not confirmed. And yes, I need extension cords.
