Circuitous Posted February 9, 2010 Author Posted February 9, 2010 The palette that image would use isn't in the same position as the palettes the actual sprites use. All you can do is what I used to do - go through the color table and change each color individually, then save the palette.

EternalMelody Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 how do you recolor using gimp? i want lambda to look like nu. I found out how to do it with GIMP. You gotta import the palette file. Open the Palettes dialog Windows > Dockable Dialogs > Palettes Then on the palettes dialog open the context menu and select "Import Palette". Check "Palette file" as source then select your palette file, then just click import. Now if you haven't already, open the sprite image file you want. Then Colors > Map > Set Colormap Then just choose the palette that you just imported.

Whoever made it, did you upload it? If not, someone's going through our threads and stealing. Wtf. I don't like that. Next I'll see fanart from the fanart thread get uploaded there without any reference to the original artist.
