I go almost every thursday night, anyway, so that's nifty. Only thing is I work 8am-5pm every day, so it'd have to be after 5. I have no school, and I'd gladly ditch you for a hot date, but sadly that's not happening. :^) We can meet up at AI or my place. Ummm. AI opens at 1:00 pm, and technically closes at 1:00am I think, but they really close when it's cleared out for the most part. Usually around 3:00am. I might learn some pot so I can mash GG with you. Hellmonkey taught me a combo. :3 rofl. Looking forward to it. Also peoples, go today. Talking to you CC, and you WiCKED, and Aurora - do I know you? I'll mash GG with you if I see you around. I suck balls, but that's why I used the word mash. I have to learn by playing, not by using training mode. D:

I hope Zong & inc. are willing to stay up pretty late on Thursday night. I could get a taxi from LAX... it's about 30 min drive to AI. Their gonna rip me. lol. I'm happy to pay someone gas & good compensation if they were willing to take me from LAX to the games.

If we go thurs night, I would leave around closing for AI. 2 or 3ish, as I have work the next/same day at 8am. We can go again fri, depending on your plans. Where are you staying again/ how are you getting around LA?
Kyle Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I'm coming into town LATE Thursday- technically Friday. Games that night until around noon on Friday. The wedding party see's me Friday from noon- Saturday about 4 PM. This includes the wedding, parties and all that jazz. Saturday evening I'm working out some other plans which will keep me busy through Sunday morning. Sunday Morning, I hit the plane to return home. I've got rides coordinated with a few guys, but none for Thursday.

I was hoping to be able to play more friday night, since I usually go in the early evening (7or 8 ish) and stay till closing. Friday in the day, I'll be at work, so I dunno about that. Are you crashing at someone's house/do you have a hotel room near LAX, or...?

Probably not, since GG is my main game and I only really started playing BB on like this past Saturday at AI, so I probably would (and did) get owned bad by the real players. I'm more active in the scene in NorCal too when I have school since I can actually get around without a car. Down in SoCal I've only been to AI twice before last Saturday and a gathering at pulsr's more than a year ago. I'm looking to go to AI again in the next week or two. I assume Thursday-Saturday would be the best days to go?

severin Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Speaking of Lambda, I have banned myself from playing Litchi for a while, as my Lambda has gotten to PROFOUND... SADNESS levels. Now let's just hope I enforce this ban of mine for more than 30 seconds. (litchi combos are too fun to do, sue me)
