At least until you activate your tandem or do certain moves (see below). To make a general statement, everything that uses your stand breaks the install. There are exceptions of course. List of Moves that break Stand OFF Install: DIO: - Throw - Stand ON - 236S - 236A/B/C - 214A/B/C - B,A,6,A,C Note: Dio's Laser, Teleports, Steamroller and Knives do NOT break the install. JOTARO: - Throw - Stand ON - 2B - d.2B - 2C - d.2C - 3C - 5C - 6C - d.C - alle Specials & Supers ABDUL: - Throw - Stand ON - 2B - 2C - 6C - all Specials & Supers IGGY: - Throw - Stand ON - 2B - 5C - all Specials & Supers Note: 6B does NOT break the install. MIDLER: - Throw - Stand ON - 2B - 6B - 2C - d.2C - 5C - j.C - j.2C</br> - all Specials & Supers KAKYOIN: - Throw - Stand ON - 2B - d.2B - 2C - d.2C - 5C - j.C - all Specials & Super. Note: if you place a net before the Stand OFF, the install still works. Since JoJo's is a capcom game, you might find more info there. I know that there's two huge threads there already. Or you can try to buddy up with people on GGPO or 2DF, assuming the game in question still gets action. which I think JoJo has died down alot since it was added, on GGPO atleast

Just note that I viewed the damage reduction as adding life points to the characters instead of reducing the damage of the opponent's attacks. 176 Old Joseph, Hol Horse, Hol Horse and Boingo, D'bo 155 Jotaro, Abdul, Mariah, Midler, Iggy, Kakyoin, Dio, Shadow Dio, Rubber Soul, Jojo (Young Joseph), Chaka, Anubis Polneraff, Ice, Alessi, Polneraff 140 Khan, New Kakyoin 128 Pet Shop Just for a bit of perspective, Dio's bnb does 83 damage.
