so, who can pull off the dio BnBs? just out of curiosity. imo they rank in as the hardest combos i've ever tried to learn, right beside the harder stuff in hokuto. there's a reason after all that many combovids for jojo are actually matchvids with custom music, because the stuff that people pull off in those vids is just breathtaking. same for hokuto, no more need for combovids, matchvids are all you need.

Depends on what you mean by "BnB." If you mean like Japanese B&Bs with crazy multi-link into tandem attack mash jab into stand summon knockdown stuff then nope, can't do that yet lol.

exactly, multi-link a go-go. those are hard as hell. and whats even funnier: figuring out how to do them. it's not like you can just look at the combo once and pull it off, you need to discover so many little tricks to make those combos work, it reminds me of when HNK came out and i tried to do the crazier rei stuff. just a LOT harder.

As far as the combos-tandem combos-combos go i can't do that stuff in one big chain in a battle online but i'm working on it. I'm a pretty big polnareff player so i don't really need those combos to kill someone, my pressure and speed does that for me. Although learning that stuff would be kool. Just tough to pull off in combat @_@

also depends on the char. i was mainly talking about dio, no idea about others. although i assume most of the other combos are just as hard. dio: 2A, 2A, negatige edge 214A, link dash, hold 1, 1A, 1A, link hold 6, A+S, link dashing 2A, 214S -> 4 x ABC, if you can get that far, congratulations, and it's not even over yet. took me forever to figure out how to do this. and the tensionless combo: 2A, 2A, negative edge 214A, link d.1A, link d. 5A, (you cannot hold 6 or else DP will come out), 236C, dashing normal jumping B, \/, dashing A, 2Ax4, hold 6, C. hard as hell.

Well i believe you, dio is a hard as hell mutha fucka, but i'm saying it's not impossible to pull off online lol. Although the player i was referring to uses jotaro, so yeah i guess it may be impossible with dio (never seen any good online dio users who can do this stuff or attempted to anyways) but then again i never tried with dio. Lol though at the bold, true guilty gear player.

all of the links are possible online, but all of them right after each other are highly unlikely. even the good players i've seen rarely hit that combo, and usually do the easier variations.

definitely. that is from the tutorial series i use. the stuff is hard as hell (at least the dio stuff), maybe you have more luck with jotaro.

Jotaro has less in the way of dash -> crouch cancel links so it should be easier to get down imo

When you guys gonna hit up www.2dfighter.com so i can see what yall got? I can't get my hosting setup so i lerk on ggpo dragging people over to 2df to see how good they are. I don't know every character but i'd be happy to help teach people the basics and some secrets to the game on 2df if they can get hosting situated. So far i've not seen a better polnareff player on the net, i'd be proud but hell i've not really seen a polnareff character on the net period lol. Message me on here or SRK for some matches. Gonna be some jojo's tournies on 2dfighter on the 11th of october so make sure to train and hall ass down there so we can get some jojo's going. Everyone is going to be up till laaaaaaaaaate at night getting jojo's sessions going. For more information search up on SRK for the exact post made by roukyou about a tvranbat or something like that. Shouldn't be too hard to find, not many jojo's threads, so a simple search will get it done.

forget 2df, it has 3 frames of input lag, besides, spectator lag got fixed in ggpo.

Can someone please explain to me how i can spectate in ggpo but i can't play? Wtf kinda joke is that? I know i forwarded the ports right on my router, but it seems i can't host on 2df or play on ggpo. But what i don't get is how come i can watch matches. Is there some kind of technical aspect that i'm missing on that equation? I hella wanna jojo's on ggpo against some japs.
