Hoo boy, it seems like this match is basically whoever gets momentum first. Problem for me is getting that momentum since most of the time she'll end up getting me into a corner and raping my fragile Ragna health.

Probably my biggest issue is how to meet her in air-to-air since her j.C seems to either come out faster than mine or it's got more range? Her 6D cancel can also be problematic at times since it doesn't seem like 5B can punish it fast enough.

There's no reason to meet her in the air (if you can avoid it), I'd rather hide behind my 5B and 6A. I get a lot of my damage against litchi by watching for that itsuu cancel (litchi can be pretty predictable with it) and punishing with 2B>3C>PAIN. Otherwise treat this match like you would in CT.

I've got 0 experience with this matchup, so it's hittin' me pretty hard so far.

You just have to be patient as fuck. Litchi's who jump away spam j.C seem to be untouchable (And if you get hit on counter, you're eating 4.2k+ in the corner). Everything else she has seems so damn untouchable I don't even know where to begin my offensive. Luckily if you do manage to close the distance it seems pretty easy to keep it that way, just watch for the DP and go to town.

Lots of dashing in and using Barrier to stop, jump in with Barrier and look for IAD throws. Try to get under her so you can 6A, that way she has to block and you don't have to worry about her awesome air moves. If she IADs at you with j.B or j.C, you can 6A those as well, but spacing and timing matters. On the ground, try to make her whiff a normal so you can punish, don't commit to anything unless she does something first. Whiffing a move and eating one of her combos is just not worth it.

Once you get in, be aware of Tsubame Gaeshi (the DP), if you bait it then you get a free combo (she can't Rapid that move). Otherwise, stick to pressure with as few gaps as possible. Her command backdash is good for getting her out of trouble. Try your best to corner her if possible.

6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A6A seriously it makes Litchi so much more managable. Her air moves are overwhelming, once you dont have to worry about them as much her danger level drops a bit, especially since a hit from the air = giant combo which will likely land you in the corner which will likely take all those scrumptious little health points from ragna.
