There were a number of people at fanime who seemed really interested in the CDC, but you never know if those guys. It also probably didn't help my case that I had three separate 20+ win streaks while I was there. Eh, hindsight. In short, I don't really know. Out of the confirmed list I think there are 9 SVGL regulars, and that one hazama guy that showed up to the last ranbat. However, I'm hoping for 30-35 too!

The LESS people show up, the better your comp is and the more broke you are at the end of the day. But of course, bigger crowd is a lot more hype

What matters is how much xp I gain from doing this, and better people showing up, even if it does end up costing me more, gains me that much more xp. Its a double edged sword when you think about it. Less people means more of your usual competition i.e: Me, Scott, Derek, John and so on which means you're more likely to lose since we are for sure a good fight. More people means more variety of players but not necessarily BETTER variety. You can just catch on to basics of whoever you may not be as experienced against. Also Jared, I was at the Famine-Con for the ending stuff today and there were a few people talking about your flyer so may theres a couple more possibilities. Although it may not mean much since they were all part of my Ragna's EPIC 38 win streak of DOOM AND DESPAIR!! So grain of salt I guess...

I may have read an old post. ANYway, I'm sitting there doing sparring mode, trying to grind some combos, and I accidentally pick Bang by mistake (always by mistake). Well, I paid for the game so I just went with it for a while. After 2-3 minutes, a couple of guys show up and one of them challenges my bang with his ragna. During that match, his friend was talking about the CDC flyer that was on the cabinet. Specifically, he was saying that "that arakune player is shit" and how much he wished "he could be there to take his money". I, being the gentleman that I am, said nothing. After I lost, I picked arakune. They said no more about the flyer the rest of the night.

Also, I saw the flyer on Sunday, I was so proud of my little piece of work.
