At the moment, this feels like an even match for Noel maybe better!!! It seems Noels rush down style is very good against Moooo, who is reliant on strategic setups. Noel's normals crush Moooo's. Her only way out of Noel's pressure is IB DP Don't rushing at her once she has a few Steins out.
Mizzet Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 Mu is kind of like Noel, in that her high damage options are mainly unlocked by counterhits or crouching hits which allow her to combo 5c/2c into 6c. Try to avoid putting yourself in such situations. Also, she can detonate her steins with 214d, the explosion has a lot of active frames. If you get hit by this prepare to eat a big combo because it hurts and scales very generously. Her stabby super 632146C does 3063 damage raw, probably the most damaging distortion drive in the game that isn't 720/DBD. If you spam drive too much on block against Mu you're asking to get nailed by this as a reversal. That's all I got now, the matchup definitely feels like it could go either way at the moment. Mu's still like Hazama when he was brand new, the real damaging stuff hasn't really been discovered yet. It's quite true as well, Mu relies a lot on setups and strategic positioning, so someone rushing you down is going to ruin your day.
Aginor Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Super is 632146C not 63214C. =p Free air super when Mu shoots lasers. It's just a matter of getting in for Noel. Be careful of being too far out against Mu because of 6c as mentioned. You never want to get 6c FC'd. Worst thing that can ever happen to you. Pretty much once you have 50 meter, Mu can't really use 236d out of nowhere and be safe. Oh yea as a side note, when I was playing this match up today, Noel's 2d went over Mu's 6b.
