[CS1] Iron Tager Combo Thread

How is it not? The game picks it up as a combo, unless it doesn't count as one if you get a Purple "!!" on 360/720s and grabs.

Not only does it not count as a combo because of the purple throws, but the game doesn't pick it up as a combo because GF 360B isn't a comboed purple throw, It's a throw during their throw protection period.

(If anyone knows can they message me the normal protection period length and/or the GF version?)

What is a combo?

In Blazblue combo's are any sequence of attacks that is colored red so a basic idea for CS is: 5A>5B>3C.

this combo will "red beat" whereas something that combo's blue is not a real combo.

another general rule for a combo is: purple grabs...purple grabs in your combo doesn't make it legit, normally a grab will come up green when you do it but say someone is in hit or block stun and you grab them.

well they are gonna break that and you lost that combo...exceptions are tech traps.

You sound newer, so. The combo blue beats when you get a purple throw or land a move when the other person could have teched. The reason these don't count as combos is because they are escapable. In you case, purple throws are not only escapable, but easily breakable.

Um, here is a combo that is unnecesarily long: (100% Heat)

2B/6C/5BC>Collider>BSledge>(RC)2C>Collider>BSledge>22D>5BC>Collider>Spark Bolt>

[2B>]2C>Collider>Collider (Whiff)>2B>2C>Collider>Collider Whiff>22D>360B>22D>720C.

You can pretty much make yourself a sandwich if you get caught in this combo.

I held 8 after getting hit by gadget finger and didn't die.
