Kyle Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 in CT the cross-up was guranteed. It's situational in BB:CS V1.0 & V1.01. It has only cross me once in CS.
Heroic_Legacy Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Stop reminding people that doesn't work all the time and it'll work because they will be crossed up by blocking a crossup.
mAc Chaos Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Yeah, it keeps messing me up. I block MTW in the air and expect a crossup and end up crossing myself up I knew something had changed! I thought I was losing my mind. :8/:

evilben Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 **************************CENSORED************************** sorry, spilled the beans! it crosses up, even if youre on the ground...
A.X.I.S. Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 yeah I just increased my 2k+ post count. whoops did it again. oh well lets leave post deleting to Bj and mike z.
mAc Chaos Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I saw it! Next time Axis won't be getting any random MTW wins. :P
Mike Z Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 UGH that's what I get for posting at 3am...I meant 6K, sorry to get your hopes up. :^S I'll be more careful, I promise. On that note, since I mentioned it as part of the mixup it's sort of assumed that Tager has 100% meter, so you can always at least do MTW last hit -> Terra, 6B->2C xx AC, Spark, etc. if you don't want to do anything more difficult; and you know me, I'm all about easy. (Spark won't hit on Jin and some other characters, though.)
fear4 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 IMPORTANT POST! READ OR YOU'LL REGRET IT! POWERFUL COMBOS!!!!1!11!!ONE Okay so through Vigorous testing (dicking around) and high level conceptual combo theorizing (Trying to mash out a 1080 for a good 15 seconds against my friend who is also trying feverishly to execute his own astral), I have stumbled upon a game breaking combo! What is it? CH j.D > ASTRAL .....You're welcome.
Edalborez Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Not to be hostile but... not really that useful unless showboating Would also be hard to confirm (churn butter in the air, profit. Really obvious what you're going for). CH j.D can lead to like 7k with 100 meter anyways, and the bulk of the damage can't be bursted if they didn't rageburst on first hit (not that you should really try astral when they have a burst still). Just the bracketed part: [JD air CH > 623C > 623C (whiff) > 236236B > 236236B] > 5C > 41236D > 2C > 623C -- Though if you mean grounded j.D CH... I dunno. Still might be better things to do. Also possible I'm just being a negative nancy.
fear4 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Somebody didn't detect the heavy sarcasm in my post......still, it's a pro combo and should be added to the first post with an asterisk leading to discussion of its proness. Also, an added bonus is that as soon as you land it, pheromones release from your body attracting all females in a 12 mile radius.
natearistata Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 You're playing BlazBlue, dawg. There are no females in a 12 mile radius.
fear4 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Well hey, I didn't say there would be women in range. BUT IF THEY WERE....................
OrionXElite Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 So I was kinda trolling around in Training mode and I stumbled upon an interesting FC combo. Not sure if it was known or not but I may as well put it up and explain it! NOTE: Requires 100 meter FC2C>MTW>RC>Walk>6C>j.2C>2B>ASledge>5C>AC>[bSledge>Spark>2C>AC]or[bGadget] NON Magnetism only. DMG:5580 Heat Gain:41 Magnetized Variant: FC2C>MTW>RC>ACWhiff>6C>j.2C>2B>ASledge>5C>6A>2C>AC>Spark>2C>AC DMG:5613 Heat Gain:41 BONUS: Double MTW combo: Facing Corner/Mag only. 100 Heat: FC2C>MTW>2B>ASledge>5C>6A>2C>[6C>Spark>MTW>Gadget]or[6C>Spark>2C>AC] 6C>Spark>MTW>Gadget DMG:6493 Heat Gain:31 6C>Spark>2C>AC DMG:5644 Heat Gain:48 So this is all a result of me being sleep deprived and trolling Bang in Training Mode. I randomly did MTW>RC>ACWhiff>Spark and noticed it hit and thought "Hmmm...I smell new combos" So the first 2 combos are pretty simple once you get the FC>MTW down. you wanna delay it so you get all the hits of MTW as that gives you the most damage overall. But what I like about these instead of Terra Break finishers is that you can get heat back from the combo! Now yes, its a pretty situational idea but just knowing you have the ability to get 40 heat back from it while only losing about 500 damage from the Terra Break is pretty fucking awesome to me. But again, fairly situational to something along the lines of you being godly at IB'ing Arakune bug blockstrings and him having a good chunk of life left. As for the Double MTW combos, I was experimenting with the first combos and realized that I do the MTW>2B tech trap in the corner a lot so I figured I'd try the 2B>ASledge FC Gatling and it worked into my usual FC combo filler into another MTW WITH Gadget ending. Best part is for this, you don't need Spark! After the AC, its still untechable so you can ACWhiff>MTW>Gadget if you don't have Spark! Or you could go for max heat and setup the exact same thing if the enemy messes up thanks to the 48 heat gained from it:keke: But yeah...Fruits of my boredom. Figured I'd inform people on the silly-ness of it. EDIT: For the Double MTW combos, you can do a non-mag variant by doing this: FC2C>MTW>2B>ASledge>2B>2C>AC>6C>Spark>MTW>Gadget EDIT2:Edal pointed out my scrubby zombie typing error. Fixed the issue.
Edalborez Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Not that I tried myself yet but some of those damage numbers seem way too high for what's in the combo (actually just the very first one that I can tell at the moment). Also you don't need to RC to do 6C after FC2C, just nobody does it due to really bad proration. And 2C > 6C doesn't gatling I believe so... I'm lost. Will try some when I wake up more. I just say this since I spent like a whole 3 days exploring nonmag FCs last month so if I missed something like this...

Oh shit...wow I'm sorry, I missed a very vital part of the combo:vbang: Its FC2C>MTW>RC>Walk>6C>etc...I was insanely tired so I kinda missed it...Same with the varied version: FC2C>MTW>RC>ACWhiff>6C>etc.

I guess some are interesting a little. And your double tech wheel damage is mislisted. It's 6193 not 6493. For comparison MTW+ Terra off FC 2C mid screen can lead to 6.7k by doing stupidly easy stuff. Funny stuff though, speaking of that though. I think Anti Air FC 2C>MTW(Only the overhead hits), is funnier. It reduces the proration of wheel+break so losing the first set of hits isn't a big deal damage wise (it's like... not even 800 damage), you can of course combo from it in the corner, or Terra. Terra also does more damage than usual because of less proration. Funny because of the damage potential and because it doesn't work if they are magnetized.

Uhh I kinda explained it all in the first post about it. While its rather situational, in some cases it could be more worth it to RC it and take less damage as you gain back a lot of heat for it. Its a give and take kind of thing.
Coopa Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 You're playing BlazBlue, dawg. There are no females in a 12 mile radius. Surprisingly... they are all in socal.

That Is situationally funny.
A.X.I.S. Posted October 22, 2010 Author Posted October 22, 2010 guys guys I need a little help updating this thread. can you guys test if the character specific combo's work on valk, mu, and makoto? this would help me greatly. also I am planning on removing the JP wiki post and adding the more optimal and higher execution(?) combo's in its on seperate section. thanks in advanced to who ever decides to do it.
Isorropia Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Mu's hitbox is similar to Lambdas - 360B > walk > 2B collider works. AC > walk > j.c whiff > j.2c > 2B > AC works. (Bsledge variant works as well) Valk has an odd aerial hitbox... Cannot combo OTG 2B > collider (even at point blank. Similar to haz/haku) So no AC after 360B. Only magnetless double colldier I found to work was AC > walk > 6C > AC. Timing for it is easier than on haz. Can't combo 5C after normal throw. (6A > 2C works with mag though) 360A - 262D and 5B4D both connect. Makoto: not sure, haven't tested throroughly. The optimal 2C FC combo works on all 3 though (the magnetless one which has j.c whiff > j.2c > 2B > Asledge and does 4297 53 heat)
Leo7 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Only magnetless double colldier I found to work was AC > walk > 6C > AC. Timing for it is easier than on haz. You sure you can't do OTG j.B > 5C? I played against the character recently and was able to do OTG j.B > 5C > Collider in the corner, but I wasn't able to do it midscreen (where you have to add the j.C whiff). I can't really test it myself cause Valk's still not out on Xbox :/
