I have family in Dallas, I might go during summer... Where do you guys usually hold your gatherings? What games? If I do go, not sure if I'd take my arcade stick or not, depends on the stuff that fits(since it's family trip and all).

Hey, I just realized Frigid's new place is really close to richardson.

o_o umm, well so far most of the peoplez I know who wanted in haven't contacted me recently /grumble, I'm gonna start grilling people about this bs this week since it's coming up like real fucking soon(Not to mention seeing if anyone else would want to chill/have a place to sleep in that weekend)

also bigggg note If any of you guys are interested in sharing the cost of that room(again I'll pay most of it, just need you guys to help chip in) go ahead and text/private message me so I can write down yo nammmmes. If enough people want in I'll go to the hotel and get the room ready early for some weekend shenanigans.

OK, cool. if you need someone's number, just tell me. I think i'll leave with zreb at night to sleep at my parents' place in Fort Worth, but definitely getting in on those casuals.

also major fanboy note, one character I'd like to see playable in the next installment would be freaking jubei. juss sayin'

I have family in Dallas, I might go during summer... Where do you guys usually hold your gatherings? What games? If I do go, not sure if I'd take my arcade stick or not, depends on the stuff that fits(since it's family trip and all).

Usually, either Frigid or I host meetups. Frigid's place is in north dallas, and my place is in Richardson. When I host, meetups are from 2-9pm. For frigid, meetups are 3pm-midnightish.

Main games are Blazblue, Arcana 3, and Marvel 3. When the denton crew comes down we have 1-2 Melty setups, when Ronin is around there's usually a Guilty setup, and sometimes we have random other stuff like Vampire Savior on the PC or Umineko or 3s or SSF4 or whatever. But most people here main either BB, AH3, or MvC3, and everyone at least either mains/subs either AH3 or BB. There's also Fight Club in Fort Worth, which is very capcom heavy.

In the summer we'll probably routinely have meetups twice a week, usually at least one friday or saturday meetup(which is what we've been doing) and I'll start regularly hosting(or maybe jet will, who is also in north dallas) a meetup on some weekday pending on what people want.

Nice to meet you, I been in the fighting game scene for 7 years (2003), mostly it was for GG and Street Fighter. But now I'm interested in Arcana Heart 3. Where can I find competition here. I postly more on SRK, and been inactive on DL for the longest time

I am not sure when, but maybe I might go on the bus to stay at Fort Worth for a bit, since that's where my family members live. Are you guys too far from Fort Worth? I don't really know the area too well myself.

if you're chilling in fort worth you're probably alot closer to where I live(I live in arlington a suburb between fort worth and dallas) Cheebz, Zreb, and I usually commute to those dallas meetups, but we have hosted a few small meetups at my place(mostly old school ps2 game focused since I have access to that easily in my room) we play a few new school games in the main room in my house as well but alot of us just opt to play 3s, gg, or some random game i happen to have XD

7 years?! Nice. Glad to have you aboard.

We host meetups in north Dallas/Richardson, usually every week on either friday or saturday.(Like 2-9pm if at my place or 3-12 if at frigid's) Going to start doing meetups on some weekday too. There will almost always be AH3 at such meetups. Who do you play?

This week may or may not have a meetup. Week after we're going to that tourney. Week after that will be the start of summer goodness, i better see you by then. Most of us will still be varying levels of free in AH3 around then, I think. Pfhor being the main exception.

Dallas is like a 1-1.5 hour drive from Fort Worth. Quite reasonable.

Dallas drivers are complete fucking shitheads though, so some days/times can just be awful. IT RAINS? 8 WRECKS

So, I totally forgot I have an LSAT prep test this Saturday and a presentation and a research paper due on Monday. If we are going to do a meet up it will have to be on Friday and I will be closing shop no later than 1am. So, if people are down for Friday we could do like 4:30 to 12 or 1 on Friday.
