I wanted to say that the may missed a combo, but then I saw the title above the matchvid; coincidentally I immediately see the level drop to where random FB dolphins come out. He did keep the pace up nicely though.

Anyways, why did you jump into the air so often? You should have advantage over May on the ground.

rtl, thanks dude. Those matches were sick. Sucks I couldnt stay for em at the time but at least I got to see them now. Kiisha was on fire. We were pretty close to having an Ogawa-less SBO this year eh? (except for that perfect in the last round heh)

ah whoops, i had originally posted the background in my region's thread, but didn't say anything here. let me clarify:

i was at shinjuku sportsland the other night, and on the big TV behind the GG machines, they were replaying the finals. so, i thought that i should record it, and see if anyone would stop me, but none of the staff members said anything.

Anyways, i'm guessing that they usually don't allow matches to be recorded live, but after the fact didn't seem to bother them ;D

also hideki, it wasn't random, mike was pulling off lots of supers during the tournament, and only missed once (against Mitsurugi's Zappa). he must've been in a lot of people's heads, that day.

Thats right 2 weeks and you'll be drinking me under the table again. Hanging with artur is pretty cool. We play so much sf4 I'm playing dalsim and chun right now but I'm leaning towards chun more and more since I am way better at playing aggressively than I am at zoning with the stretchy man.

how long will you be staying for? I will most likely be going to Tokyo the following weekend (as in, not this weekend but the next one) my ussual spots are club sega akihabara and las vegas in shinjuku but lately ive just been playing at vegas since akihabara got rid of a lot of their AC cabs and vegas is cheaper and closer to the bars I go to, plus they have 3 SFIV cabs now too. id say you can easily just find me at vegas. though after 11 I may start to head to the bars depending on how much comp is still there and how much I feel like drinking early if you will have a keitai for when you come here we can exchange emails or numbers the foot seems to be healing fairly well, i can sorta walk on it actually but I know if I was to do so for a long period of time it would start hurting really bad and get way worse. I think i should be fine by 2 weekends from now though

whoa, are you serious? how many cabs did Club Sega used to have? cuz i was there the other day, and they had 7 set-ups. (well, it seemed like a lot for me ;D )

oh they have 7 again? thats a relief. its just that when I went there last time during SBO weekend they only had 4. and then the following weekend, someone told me that when they were there, they still only had 4. I guess they put the other 3 back. in any case, vegas is still probably a better option since its half the price, they only have 2 cabs less, and lots of great players still go there regularly. in any case club sega akiba is still a good option as well

Seems like the only reason to go Club Sega Akihabara is if you want to play Ogawa. The place used to have as many as 10 cabs, but when new games like AH2 and MBAC ver.B came out, some space had to be allocated to those games.

I'm actually going to be in Tokyo for the year studying abroad, so I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to meet. I don't know much about getting a cell phone in japan, so if you have any advice, that'd be welcome. Otherwise I have some friends or my host family who I can ask. In which area of Tokyo is Vegas located?

if you will be living in Japan for a whole year you definetely need to get a cellphone, it will make life much easier. Im sure your host family would be happy to go with you and get one. Vegas is located in Shinjuku, in the Kabuki-cho area

Helping Chihiro look through the adult help wanted books was awesome. Wednesday is fast becoming the highlight of my alcoholism, lol. Saeko didn't make it out though saddly, though she said the ass thing 'aint no thang(like I thought). But w/e, I'm pretty much screwed current wise.
