smooshman Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 i'm adjusting pretty well to all the other characters but this one is pain. it's feel like everything she has can counter everything i have. any advices? you can zone her, you can't beat her at close range, but you beat her everywhere else. if you see that clone thing, you can 5C(works most of the time) or DP (generally hits all of them, but if the bait it.... you die). watch out for that gay ass fullscreen projectile punish.... stuffs everything. her astral will beat your projectiles. her spinny thing can be beat by 2A, oh and her DP is even more punishable than 623C lol. learn the range on your normals and things become easier.... but when she gets in or has heat, watch your ass.

I don't recommend DP since her corner damage is.... but if it comes to it, then do it 623D is always preferable CA also works, even jump (with barrier) out. what attacks were they? 5CC? (that double jab thing) maybe there's a hole in the string. Depending on the start up and when the projectile is guaranteed. OH and you have yukikaze. this matchup is, more or less, the only one I have direct answers to.... of course some people might have better advice, and for let me say that this is a fairly even matchup.

And barrier during certain parts of her blockstring... they usually have a overhead during her main bnb. watch out for her 3c they can feint it, and it goes over your ice swords. you have enough tools to keep her out. her air to air game is trash and so is her air to ground. your Jc could mess her up bad. i personally think this match-up is in jins favor.

Solex Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 (edited) Jin's 2c, as far as i can tell, is a great move to use against her because of her very limited range and u need to get used to ibing her attacks cause its pretty hard to get her into counter state this goes for every character but never be too predictable cause of her parry her 5a and 2a are super fast(5 frames i think) and it will stuff everything this is what a mokoto will always be doing at close range Edited December 20, 2010 by Solex
xDaRkNeSsx JiN Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Another good tool to use is 6c at a distance. Especially if your fighting an aggressive Mak. Also dont try to go all crazy on her at the beginning of a round...one mistake means u eat a ton of damage and you end up in the corner . The only real Makoto ive faught is Omnissythe and the only way i can make our matches respectable is to play a smart game and zone perfectly. otherwise....Mak rapes my life
