To give BB players an idea of how the average dedicated GG player feels, imagine Arc Sys put out a game, like BB, but then removed 2 buttons and gatling combos, and added an ultra gauge. to a guilty player that is about what blazblue looks like. They took guilty gear, and took out a bunch of features that make the game deeper and more fun and added some cool graphics to draw people in. When you know and love a game, it makes you more than a little salty seeing so much talent, effort, and hype being poured it a game that is from your point of view, similar, but significantly dumbed down. I agree it is a little unfair to you guys who know and love blazblue, which is probably a good game, but it is hard to accepts for many GG players because it really doesn't seem as good as guilty.

Danny, don't be such a dick unnecessarily, your not helping. Shit talk is part of this, but your bringing things to a much more personal level then is needed.

I'm pretty sure Dacid was originally talking about Jiang, who is pretty much a non-fat, non-smelly, non-ugly version of Oiboi. Sometimes Jiang doesn't know when to shut the fuck up, and I did manage to get him to shut up after I got in his face about it and told him to shut his mouth for being so god damn annoying. Things were better after I pretty much used my K-Groove meter. Danny is just a big fat fuck that eats hot dogs all day and plays HoN with scrubs so he can make himself look better. Ignore him. lol

And I can completely respect that. I just don't even want to touch the GG V BB argument, because neither side will agree, and most BB players aren't as uneducated about it as is implied anyway. The only thing I wanted to address was the ridiculous treatment of the BB scene from certain players. And if it was meant to be trolling, it needs to be significantly refined. There was an incredible amount of disrespect from someone that few people in the BB scene knew of, and it set many people off. It's unnecessary.

personally i dont like octagonals (it feels too weird to do IADs and DPs) and it's not the standard in JP arcades so i will never bother

most people choose octagonals since they find it easier to do DPs on (having a corner there for the down motion helps) or they have to do a lot of 360 motions ie ino's horizontal chemical love
