I've been dying to play Guilty Gear or AE, but the well is all but dry. I'm more of a Blazblue and aspiring Melty Blood player, but I do know of 2 people who play SFIV: AE. We're all UCSC students though, so you'll probably have to meet up on campus. I believe there are some people over at Porter college who also hold SFIV tournaments every now and then, but I can't say for sure since I don't go there much. Anyways, I'll get in touch with the 2 who I know play AE and see if they've got time for some matches. Either that or I'll see if it's alright to send you their cell phone numbers.

I've actually been trying to get a Santa Cruz community together for fighters in general. I've heard musings of such a group, but apparently they rarely meet and seem mostly focused on MvC.

Every now and then there's a video game night at Crown College (I'm in this college) and the most played game is by far MvC3. That's not saying that the players are good though >__> . I also hear a few people talking about Mortal Kombat here and there as well, but I haven't actually seen anybody play it. On a side note I know Fayk lives in SC and plays one of the older Street Fighter games, maybe III? You should PM him.

Ok, so there's actually only 1 person left who still plays AE. He won't remember any meeting times/is too lazy, so he'll just be going through me. So yeah, if you want to play Scott(the last remaining SF player, apparently all of his friends who played it went to Mahvel) sometime, just PM me and I'll go tell him and we'll see if he can make the time.

The place I'm staying at is in Palo Alto, which I know is about 20 minutes away from Game Center. Who wants to mash some buttons? I'm fairly certain Game Center is closed on Monday

As much as I wish this were true, living near GC would be great and I desperately need to start playing more casuals, you might have me confused with someone else. I live down here in San Jose, but I'd kill to live up north for some games with this kind of glowing recommendation.
