4r5 Posted March 23, 2011 Author Posted March 23, 2011 Whoooaaaaa, maybe training mode options are lame, but She-Hulks tech-trap looks more like a tech-punish. For anyone without air mobility at least. I'm gonna keep practicing it, that way they'll nerf it next patch. If people played games just because they were good, the scene would be dominated mostly by ST, KoF 2002 UM, and GGAC (maybe Slash over AC). We should play these games more often!

bmore303 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 KoF guy was definitely there when I first arrived. I think I figured out wth happened with my ps2. Somehow the piece stopping the disc brake was rubbing the disc no matter how much you try to push it lower. Gonna experiment with that pos later and hope it didn't damage the Darkstalker's disc too much.
bmore303 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) And the outer rim of the disc is the culprit, there's obviously a scratch on the piece holding the disc brake too, back to stuffing a piece of tissue in there instead. I'll keep trying to clean off the disc and hopefully can rip or download an iso if I can't get the disc back to 100%. A back-up copy won't do any harm. Edited March 24, 2011 by bmore303

And that they need to strive towards easy to get in to and hard to master. But I think Japan sees this differently. I think they think the problem with the genre is that a person wins and a person loses. And usually it's the more skilled player that wins, and keeps on winning. I think they think this is a problem because if a person keeps streaking, that's one side of the machine that ain't getting any yennies. And if no one can stop the streak, the other side of the machine won't be seeing any yennies either. And so they've added more random ass comeback mechanics to distribute the wins a little bit more evenly amongst players.
