  1. Whoops forgot to check this thread, got burned out by playing 6 frame matches a lot so I haven't bothered with GG in awhile
  2. Having session over at my house right now in VA
  3. I'll do stuff after NEC I'll go to people's place or you guys should come to my place! (bring a ps4 stick)
  4. I can't remember the exact size of the TE2 to the TE, but I think it's slightly longer vertically and shorter horizontally. I could be making things up though. Anywhoo, PS4 pads are really nice! Not too sure about using them for fighting games but hey I like em. Padhacking them is very very hard from what it looks like, Gummo has a guide on SRK Tech talk. Dunno if I'll do it or not, but I think I was hearing that PS4 pads were on sale sometime earlier this week for 35$ and will probably be on sale again for Black Friday. Edit: Actually, Just saw the link for your stick bag. That's for the Fightstick Pro, if it fits very snug for that stick, there's no way that a TE2 will fit. looking again and now I just have no idea. Just use a messenger bag for your stick, problem solved
  5. Black friday/Cyber Monday coming up... Not sure if I can justify the PS4 purchase just for 1 game and also I would have to mod my stick or something as well

  13. I did a quick walk around to see if there was really Xrd. Just shrugged my shoulders when i saw not Xrd GG and went to go play rhythm games
  14. Even though the Silver Line opened up right down the street from my house, it's still faster to just drive into DC :I
  15. video games
  16. ah. So I found a air blockable move. Seth's EX dive kick is air blockable. If you react to super flash with Air refelector, he goes through you while you float in the air doing that followup which moves you forward a bit. Nice. I actually found out that it's also worse than air shielding. Air to air normals cannot be blocked, but they can be shielded. You cannot reflect air to air normals
  17. Also, a lot of the characters in the game have very different hitboxes as well
  18.     It's pretty unsafe, once people start learning how to use shield right, you're going to be eating full punishes. It's A punishable without shield and B punishable with shield
  19. Bingo. You have no idea how mad I was when I figured that out
  20. Air reflector works exactly like air shield, but you don't get pushed back and recover instantly if you blocked a projectile. You might be able to punish something, but usually you're too far away. You're also giving the other guy one GRD meter while losing on some meter yourself. I think there are normals you can air block/shield/reflector, but I remember landing and doing that dumb follow up that he does that scales everything. Bottom line, air reflector doesn't do what you think it should do. Anyways, after dropping a ton of 22Bs at TSB, I was trying to find ways to get it more consistently. While teching off the floor, buffer 22 mid flip pretty early and go back to downback for the block. If you want to commit or react to something, press B. Same thing while dealing with pressure, you want to be buffering 22 right as you block something early in the block stun, and then press B. And I guess the same thing applies with downback, but you're probably going to get hit if you messed up. The game has autoblock so if you're in a tight block string, you'll continue to block, unless the string is low, you just hold to press 2 to stay blocking. So if you are mashing down and mashing B in a tight low block string, you should be alright unless you are mashing too slowly You can also mash reflector in blockstrings, but risky and not worth it. The only thing he can cancel out of reflector before the followup comes out... is another reflector. If you're mashing too much, you'll just leave yourself open to die. Don't try and be cool and Daigo parry multiple hitting supers because you gain nothing from it and you're giving the other guy all the GRD meter in the world
  21. Nope nope nope nope nope. Taipei has 4 cabs of Maxiboost at Tom's World in Ximending in the Wan Nian building since March? If Taipei has it, I'm pretty sure that the other big cities in Taiwan has it as well
  22. Was in Hong Kong this last weekend, I guess multiple arcades there have Maxi Boost now Taiwan just got it last night as well
