Thanks for the explanation. I had pretty much zero knowledge of what people liked to play at Xanadu, minus SFVI from page 1 of the thread.

Yeah, I usually play BBCS online but I thought it would be neat if people at Xanadu also played or I could meet people in this thread that were interested in playing in person there. Like you were saying though, I guess I could just bring my own set up or the game there to see if anyone will play. Maybe if people will play it there it can lead to more things. Gotta start somewhere, nothing to lose either o.o.

I've almost entirely abolished CS1 for CS2P, but I wouldn't mind playing you online sometime. I don't drive, so I can't get to Xanadu freely, otherwise I'd play you there. Tried getting to Xanadu a few times.. didn't work out so well. Send me a friend request on PS3 and we can make it hapen.

Pat I bought Dino D-Day; let's kill some fuckin' raptors!

So i watched some youtube vids of the game and it looks like DoD, except it paces like Action Quake and you can play a dinosaur who will get shot up and die. It's lacking that suspense and tension that you'd expect from anything involving humans vs unknown/inhuman threat. If it was just a DoD clone with Dinos and then setup the maps to allow the dinos to setup ambushes and come at choke points and camp spots from weird angles then I'd throw down 20 bucks.

Or maybe the raptor players haven't gotten good at picking up and tossing goats yet.

Is anyone going to play BBCS2? And by anyone, I mean you all that I've played GG with and who I've seen in reality. It seems like the last bastion of GG players who want to play something modern and not Capcom or some game with a disproportionately sized female cast.

With CS2, BlazBlue has graduated to SF4's level. Which means I will tolerate it if 10+ people are always playing it at Xanadu.

But Imma gonna hop on that MK9, whether it's shit or the shit. At least people aren't doing secret-footsies somewhere off the screen.

In fact, I'll play/tolerate any game if people show up and are enthusiastic about their game. In fact, I should stop carrying all these games. I should give my PS2 and copy of AC to Steve H, and delete all games but Slash off my modded PS2. Matt, you want my Jp copy of AC? If you want me to play your game, bring your own copy. You can find me in the corner practicing random shit in Slash. Torch in the mud, etc.
