Sesshyru Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 No wireless? That's ridiculous, just make sure to charge the pad fully before tourney and remove the cord and turn it off when match is over. The only time I had problems with ps3 pads is when the cord was attached during gameplay. It will sometimes goto home for some reason. But just DQ the person that was on the console last if there were any problems. :/ Yeah, that's what I usually do. I have never caused a problem in any tourni with my pad.

What I'm seeing from the rva tournaments sight is they're "heavily discouraged." But I'm running GG so I'd let people use wireless anyway if they don't have other options lol. Haven't had an issue since.

I guess PS3s don't have a thing that shows you which all controller ports are connected like the 360 does do they? If they did you could at least check and make sure nobody was still paired.
NagorbMan Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I think the best solution is to have a ps3 that's only for casuals that anyone with a wireless controller needs to sync to after their match is over. Even if you turn off your controller, its still synced to that ps3 until its synced to another so its still an accidental tap of the PS button away to fucking up someone else's game.
