edit: Hey Mike can I borrow Hokuto Musou? Kinda interested in it now, oh and apparently it's getting rereleased in Japan as Hokuto Musou International for ps3, it adds all the stuff from the US version (additional English dub lol, gameplay fixes, new stage, more gore), not to mention it has all the DLC on disc and it's a budget release.

I can lend you End of Eternity or something.

Okay, beaten two bosses so far, your boss battles range from DMC style to GOW style to SOTC style, and I haven't figured out how the chain system works yet. After you beat each boss you gain a new ability (like Megaman) and you can pick stages (like Megaman). I personally found things easier when I got the lance upgrade first, after that the wings. Apparently you can get the punch combo upgrade (HYAKURETSU KEN!!!!) in one of the other stages, so I'll probably do that next. The stages get progressively harder after you beat each stage, crazy bitch with firesword raped my character with one combo. lol

Production values, music, gameplay, just in general are incredibly high for a game that is only 800Yen. lol

sony needs to go die in a fire with this idea. they've got bigger balls than apple (and bigger hubris) if they think they can CREATE a market with this kind of stuff. I mean, for various reasons i cannot see a market in the east or west for the entire package. Parts of it, maybe, but apple sure as hell didn't create a market for tablets by frankensteining arbitrary amounts of functionality.

So I just beat Ys 7 on the psp and realized that I never once in the game outside of the tutorial used the blocking technique in the game.

For a game where you press x x x and y y y and x x x again, it was surprisingly good. Then again, since it's an Ys game maybe that shouldn't be SO surprising.
