We have a bunch of regulars who play, but we mostly play at lovegety on Fridays. If you're in the richmond hill area, go check it out. Usually when we have local tournaments we draw around 16-20 people, which is a lot healthier than most places. But the majority of us are trolls/top tier whores/assholes/carl sucks, so don't know how you feel about these people.

Leo7 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 (edited) Hey guys I'm starting to get into BlazeBlue lately and just been lurking the forums for awhile.hows the scene in Toronto? hi how's it going. community leader and resident fraud leo7 here. we have a decently sized community that consists of a variety of players of varying skill levels. we play at an arcade called LoveGety Station every Friday in Markham (highway 7 and leslie). feel free to come out, but to be honest, if you're relatively new to the game, you might end up being frustrated playing at the arcade because you'll have to wait long lines (usually just under 10 people) only to get triple perfected by tager (maybe carl and arakune if the tager isn't there). you can ask for mercy rounds if you feel that you can't compete and need some more time with your character at the arcade. edit: i forgot to ask: do you play pad? occasionally though we hold console tournies with more set-ups, where you can play casuals against people in a more frequent fashion, so be sure to pay attention to the Event Announcements section of this forum for any tournies being held in Toronto or GTA. we usually get around 15+ people showing up at each tourney, which is pretty good. another good tool is netplay. believe it or not, some of our best players are netplayers, so feel free to reach out to various people here for their XBL/PSN tags if you want to have a quick game with a decent connection (or play random people, that works too). in short we gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadlike. Another scrub from the West end! I'm living in Ajax for my co-op job but I'm back in Etobicoke just about every weekend, and with the addition of you, we can almost get a mini-scene going with those of us for whom the nearest ttc station is Kipling. My transit ride to Gety is longer than a trip to cottage country on a long weekend, so your could probably shave before you leave and grow a handlebar by the time you arrive at Gety; unless you have a car/are good enough to win and stay on the cab, Gety may not be the best use of your time. I only went there once, and experienced extremely long waits just to get blown up every time my turn came around (I know no combos, block poorly, mess up inputs no matter what controller I use, and at the time, I had never touched an arcade stick in my life). Add me on PSN if you need a punching bag for your combos.
