Brice Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 this is an important message about T12 : i've been told that the guys in charge of the GG setups took the TE stick of one of the MTLSF guys. the stick is a normal round 1 sf TE dual modded but ps3 at first, it has a sticker with the name Snafoo on it and a piece of green cardboard taped under it. i don't know if any of you guys have seen it but he would really like to get it back. thx in advance

Roldy and Linear come with us so you can spread your infamy! @ Brian: Cry2M3 isn't leonil. He's advancedNoob on dustloop btw. @ Brice: I think I saw where that stick was nearing the end of the night. I was setting up ST with Arturo at the back of the room and it was under a chair near the station that was positioned where the doors were. I saw a guy packing up near the back who belonged to the TTT crew I think and the stick was near two guys who were watching Andre on the station near the door. That was around the middle of top 8 marvel 3. It was for sure the stick though I think, PS3 stick with a grey xbox cable? I would have said something sooner but I just assumed it was one of their sticks. That's all the info I have on it though. Leo7 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 (edited) well i can't vouch for everyone else, but i looked around to check and i don't think i have that te. if mort and Turbo2Tone's story (in the quote) is true though, i don't think any of the gg guys could have taken it, sorry about being unable to help . i hope you guys find the douchebag though. edit: i decided to rewatch the stream archive to see when we actually left. actually i think we left during smokey and mr. trite's match (the second one)? dunno if that counts during the middle of marvel top 8. maybe one of the gg/bb guys are the douchebags after all (look around people), but based on mort's story i doubt it. That was towards the end of the night but when I left (just after SSFIV ended) they still had it, as far as I know. Perhaps you should contact him. How about Sunday? I'm usually busy Friday and Saturday.

I'm going out for dinner Sunday and Nuit Blanche is the day before so I would prefer evening. I usually stay up late so there would be no rush to get out.

magus704 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 omg nuit blanche what is that Nuit Blanche is an all-night art festival that takes place all around downtown Toronto. Basically, a bunch of artists just put shit together in parts of the city. Some of the exhibits can be cool because they're interactive like playing space invaders on the City Hall buildings a couple years ago. The entire thing can be pretty hit or miss but with enough alcohol it can be pretty fun.
