Why are you getting so defensive? That's my main concern here. You're playing this off as if you don't care, but then leave sassy responses. Paul was just responding to a statement from Nick that could easily be found obnoxious. Saying that they had an 'off week' based off of how they placed. Rankings don't mean a lot unless you have the context of the players in mind. People at the St1ckbug biweeklies are, very, very good. They have the drive to become the best players they can be. This drive is absent from battle grounds. It's mainly about having fun with your friends, maybe practicing new combos. That's cool. You're getting frustrated though, that these players who do truly want to improve their game are looking elsewhere. Paul never claimed to be the best player in the world. But I'm sure he'd like to be, and he's willing to put in the effort. And you're just being obnoxious to him and putting words in his mouth. And I don't think either of us appreciate your tone.

Sorry if I came off as being a jerk, it's hard to show sarcasm on a forum, so that's why I included that smilie in hopes of showing it was light-hearted, but apparently that didn't work. I'm simply pointing out that Paul's a damn good player and that there aren't many players better than him in the area anyway, not putting words in his mouth. Me, I'm a scrub, so I get better at BG either way. Again, I'm joking around. I have absolutely nothing against LPT, and I in fact admire and respect him and hope to learn some more Melty from him next time I see him. Remember, I'm the idiot that ranted five pages on how RPGs suck, no one should ever, EVER take what I say seriously. Like, outside of political discussions, I don't think I've ever said a serious thing in my life, heheh.

And the battlegrounds comment was a simple joke, nothing more. Crickey I'm sorry if you guys are offended, didn't mean it. Good news: I went to the hand doctor, my hand will not be on of the 62% of hands to recieve Arthritis early due to surgery. Something I noticed when my hand wasn't hurting as much when playing a few weeks ago. My hand instead of decaying is regenerating at a very high rate, so if I ever do get Arthritis it'd be MUCH later.
