Didn't N-O and Dogura win SBO together in '08?

And I want to see vids of Roi's Sol. I've never thought he was quite on the same level as 012 or Isa, yet he's probably got the best SBO record of all the Sol players.

Oh, I know it isn't standard and it isn't even extended, but I play for fun here at the UA with a bunch of pretty scrub-tastic people, so I don't actually want them to hate me. They already said I would be cheating if I ran a Sen Triplets EDH Wizard deck.

Once I get my Sen Triplets deck working I need to come be cheap to your friends. =D

They don't know what cheap EDH is until they've played here. I remember when we went to the PTQ in Feb. and it was basically me, Nick, and Mikey agreeing to split the winnings amongst us because we already knew that one of us would win. If one of us didn't combo out and win, it was because another one of us did. Fun times, but not for the random 4ths.

But yeah, your friends don't know what boring cheap magic is. The next time I go to Tucson I'll bring some amazing pirate action. XD

If you have not seen videos of Roi's Sol, then you are missing out, IMO. 012 is insane, but Roi's defense/blocking is better, and he is simply more solid, IMO. However, Isa's Sol was scary before he switched to Eddie:O

I've seen Roi's Sol, I've just never been as impressed with him as I have with 012. I also haven't seen any recent vids, though, so I'll have to look into that.

I did, however, see a fairly recent vid of Isa's Sol. It's still scary. =P

Yeah, they did actually. Dunno what happened this year, but it didn't have anything to do with Dogura. Oh well, N-O still owns Guilty Gear in Japan.

Ted, I used to run merfolk in llorwyn standard fnm. Sygg is a hero. Sage of Fables + glen elendra archmage = infinite negates/blocks. Reejereys were the most fun time ever if you got more than one, and allowed for explosive turns. Silvergill adept is amazing.

Ray, I implore you to wait a month for GW2, seriously. Not only that, in order to know which password I used for the game I'd have to download it and install it again to attempt to log in repeatedly until I found my password. Also when I quit, to further aid my oath of not playing, I gave away everything I had to the guild I was in, so you wouldn't have a lot to work with. So yeah, better off waiting a month.

Where are you guys finding the SBO placings? I couldn't navigate around the Tougeki site very well....

Guild Wars 2 isn't being released in November Ruben. The Nov. 2 date is a placeholder date stores like Gamestop use to get more pre-orders. Nothing official has been announced, check the official site.

It'll be interesting to how disable other than KD/interrupts affects the game, with fear, you could actually do a perfect chain disable, unlike in gw1. Also, i really hope fear makes people run away rather than in a random direction, i always thinks its retarded that fear makes you run in a random direction, potentially in the direction of the thing you're afraid of (In GvG for example, the entire opposing team)

Ah! I'm sorry! It wasn't directed toward you ^^. I just grew abit tired of people saying Woshige+N-O=SBO 2010 winners. The outcome was alittle different than people expected (well, some), and I like the unexpected. Makes things more interesting IMO.

I'm surprised to see N-O's team below 4th place as well. Perhaps They had to play Ogawa's team, and lost. Or, maybe Roi's Sol took out Woshige like in the vid : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr8Z9Z4QVvo#t=4m18s and then the rest of Roi's team took out the rest of N-O's team?

I don't like the way N-O taunts/mocks his opponents, so, I'm glad he didn't win this time.:kitty:

That was NASTY, holy shit, Woshige got bodied. I totally forgot about Roi, those were some weird VV crossups he did off of IAD whiff j.HS haha

LOL, this is why I love Roi (his Sol/playstyle, obviously) <3-- I am used to seeing Millia (especially Woshige) perfecting other top players, but not the other way around! Yes, Roi has a bit of a unique/somewhat unorthodox Sol, but a lot of patience as well; all while maintaning a solid rushdown and pressure game...

Ok I finally watched this and I'm pretty sure I can say with full confidence that that sol is fucking whack. VV's everywhere. I will give him credit on that sweet late back airdash ch j. d.
