Please sign me up for GG-- hAZ|SSE Holy Order-Troll (Arizona). Also, we will be bringing an Evo monitor that you can use for the tournament, and if needed, an Xbox with GG on it. Also, please let me know if you need help running the tournamrnt or finding players Also, my UMvC3 pool is at noon, so please let me know if this is a problem-- I would hate to cause any trouble. Have not played GG in a looong time, but I heard that a few Japanese top GG players will be attending Evo, and it will be great to play everyone again <3

B]]Ghaleon[/b: What time does the venue open on Saturday, and when will it close? Sorry, for the silly questions, and thank you so much for including GG in the trailer and trying to hype the "smaller games" <3... Because some players will be arriving later in the afternoon, we are CHANGING the start time to 2:00PM, and sign-ups will end at 1:30PM....Also, please try to be on time for your matches, so this tournament will end on time (Ky-Sama is a 8:00AM Marvel pool). Also Mods, please update the title to add Dogura (RO) and Inoue (OR)-- hopefully, we can get them to enter! Also, Broken-Tier agreed to sponser this tournament <3 Get hype! -

Sol-Bumguy replied to Sol-Bumguy's topic in Archive
I updated the OP; the entry fee will be $10.00, because $10 had more votes than $5, and we made the entry fee $10.00 at FR15, anyway.... Please spread the word and encourage your friends to enter-- attending Evo is FREE if you do not plan on entering any of the "official tournaments" and watching the GFs live, and this may very well be the FINAL Accent Core(+) tournament at EVO (or in the USA, if GGXX AC R is released shortly after EVO)... I see where you are coming from, however, I am certain that the past few months have been busy for everyone (so many tournaments, etc), so I doubt that the pre-reg list will remain this way until EVO. Also, I know of quite a few other GG players (who do not frequent DL) that would like to enter GG (this list is mainly for people who post in the thread, but will add others when Evo is near) and last year, we had more than DOUBLE the entrants of the pre-reg list-- so I am not too worried <3 I do encourage more to enter and have a great time. Hope you can make it as well^_^ -

LOL, I assumed you must have been mad busy lately-- that or I did something wrong:O Just had to create the thread as soon as possible, before early bird registration closed... Are you still up to help run GG, or did you have other plans? I know you have a lot of experience with hosting and you helped A LOT last year, but the choice is yours. Thanks for bringing a set-up, and good to know we are still cool <3 -

Remember that running GG will be there, as well: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/poll.php?pollid=167&do=showresults It sucks that spectators need to pay $50.00 just to watch the finals in the main room, due to limited space...I wish everyone good luck with their side tournaments and finding a ride to EVO :O <3 -
Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Side Tournament(s) at EVO2K12
Sol-Bumguy replied to Sol-Bumguy's topic in Archive
Yes, spectating, playing casuals and entering side tournaments are FREE, as long as you are not entering the "official games". The venue fee is for entering the official tournaments, receiving an EVO T-shirt and being able to play demos of games that are not yet released, IIRC. Each year, many GG and BB players do not register/pay the venue fee because they plan on entering side tournaments, ONLY, which is fine. The choice of entering KOF is entirely up to you, but if it happens to be run on the same day as GG (which is most likely Friday, because the "smaller" games are usually run on Friday, and because we prefer not to run GG while we are in UMvC3 pools/while others are in SSF4ae, etc pools as well), then you are responsible for informing the TO's that you will be playing in other tournaments-- in order to avoid confusion, etc. If you have more questions, then feel free to ask/PM <3 -

Any help would be much appreciated. We are better at seeding by region & skill, but with your help, it would be quicker. Roldy: It is good to know that you are coming to EVO again, thanks for signing up. Are any of your Canadian friends coming? We want to make the experience much better for you guys this year, if any more of you decide to enter <3 BTW, GG will MOST LIKELY be run on Friday afternoon (around noon), but you guys can be placed at the bottom of the bracket/play your matches later, if needed.... Everyone, please remember to BRING A PS2/GG and or TV if you can, because we really need set-ups, and with this being one of the biggest EVO's ever, I highly doubt the staff/random people will allow us to use their TV's, etc... Thank you. -
Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core (PS2) - Singles @ EVO2k12. Evolution 2012 -July 6th-8th, 2012. Caesar's Palace 3570 Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89109 Date: Friday, July 6th On-site Sign-Ups: 12:00pm-1:00PM Start time: 2:00PM Entry fee: $10.00 Pot will be split 75%/25% (1st/2nd), or if there's a decent amount of people (>20) 70%/20%/10% (1st/2nd/3rd). Players should try their best to report their wins/losses, if possible-- this is VERY IMPORTANT, especially when more than 2 matches are being played at the same. *If there is enough TIME/interest, teams will run as well, but for now, it is singles.* .................. I know that last year's GG side tournaments at EVO2k11 could have ran better, and Ky-Sama & I were responsible for that. However, it was our FIRST TIME doing it ourselves (since then, we have run singles AND teams at Seasons Beatings and helped run GG & UMvC3 singles at this year's Final Round), and we asked people for help (at EVO), but VERY FEW offered to help (not that it was their responsiblity to do so), so we did the best we could. Teams ran A LOT better than singles, but ended up running late.... Ky-Sama & I+others decided it would be BEST to finish singles on Saturday afternoon, because by 10:30PM, many players had been gone for hours, even after being called & texted many times, and the BYOC area was being closed, anyway. However, on Saturday afternoon/evening, practically every GG player was either in Marvel pools (including us), or BB singles and/or teams (which also resumed on Saturday, IIRC), so teams ran a bit late, but finished within a few hours, thankfully. ` Again, I am very sorry for everyone whose matches were delayed, had to be DQed, dropped out, etc, etc and I understand that some are angry... All we wanted to do was to step up to help create a hype and positive GG experience at EVO and get everyone together to have fun... So many people came from Canada, etc and I feel bad that their EVO GG experience was not better...But this year will be different; thanks to the experience we gained and the equipment we are now using (Laptop FTW), we know that this year, it will be A LOT BETTER. We promise to make GG as hype as possible and to give everyone a chance to enjoy playing people from different regions at EVO <3

For those of you who are entering any of the games in EVO's OFFICIAL LINE-UP, today is the last day to get the $20.00 discount, so please register to save money: http://evo.shoryuken.com/evo-2012-player-registration/ BTW, there WILL BE GG/BB side tournaments; the details for the GG tournament are being sorted out, and it should be posted soon, IIRC...Hopefully, the same will be done for BB, and the tournaments' times/days will not conflict. http://shoryuken.com/2012/04/18/guilty-gear-xx-accent-core-plus-coming-to-xbla-and-psn-this-summer-arcade-stick-and-screenshots-revealed/ For those of you who have not seen it on SRK yet.... So glad GG is coming back. I hope the net code is good, and that it being on next-gen systems will bring it back to tournament line-ups/allow more access to the game, so that the scene will grow. Online play is also good <3 -
It was an honour to finally play that great Venom, so of course I was not bored at all...Just tired due to helping run GG/work & extremely rusty. Hopefully, we can play more at EVO, and I am happy that you had fun at your first FR <3 Also shoutouts to Kyle for being Kyle (man you have got to make it to EVO-- I am certain your wife would enjoy herself as well); it sucks we never got the chance to play, FunkyP for STREAMING GG (sorry if I seemed rude/agressive, it was very stressful and too loud in the ballroom) and St1ckBuG for allowing Ky-Sama & I to use your PS1-PS3 converter for UMvC3...Sorry for taking so long to give it back, and also great commentating on stream <3

FINAL ROUND XV March 2-4, 2012 "The 15th Aniversary"
Sol-Bumguy replied to ShinBlanka's topic in Archive
Very late reply, but it was great to see everyone (GG players) again, too bad I only played a few people, on Friday only; and played awfully/was more RUSTY than I had been in about 2 years GG's to DBC Loop, Zinac, Taitsu, Xionor, Azure Phoenix and anyone else that I played <3 I wanted to play more people, but had to help run the tournament/entered UMvC3 teams, but glad everyone had fun. Thanks to Zinac for helping run the tournament, especially when Jeff, Ky-Sama and I were in UMvC3 teams (LOL in the same teams), and I do apologize for the minor mistakes/confusion/delays in the tournament. Congrats to the top placers, I thank everyone who entered and I look forward to seeing more of you at EVO <3 Edit: Bobsmack: Can you please post the GG results on FR's main page? -

If anyone is uncertain of entering due to not having a PS2 stick, it should be fine-- I am certain that others will lend out their sticks when necessary; whethr you prefer Japanese style or American/Mas... Also, please bring set-ups, when possible. Only a few more days left to pre-register for FR15-- if you are only going to spectate, play casuals and enter Side Tournaments, then you only need to pay the venue fee, so please pre-register to save TIME and MONEY.

LOL, Ky-Sama did all right, but I hope you are joking about mine-- was bodied by the same guy (first match) in 2 RanBats in a row, so I suppose he will get a perfect next time... And yes, those stick issues made the night even saltier, sorry...So glad GG is my main game, LOL...
