I am among the remaining bastions of amazing hair. I must remain strong in my resolve.

Edit* just got my hair cut too

I'm coming back to this thread a couple days after... when the topic of cutting hair is done.

Haircuts are my nightmares and worst matchups... They already got Mehraj. Then Erik. Then Dan. Now Ray...

My heart feels shattered.

I think it's time for me to get another haircut actually. I'm starting to get these curly things on the back of my head :v:

Don't be so afraid of short hair Jimmy. It's pretty nice washing your hair in like, 30 seconds lol.

You're Asian, Brian. That's to be expected.

...Fucking Asians and their perfect, silky, straight hair.

Bump in the road! Me.

No. No... NOOOOOO! NO SHORT HAIR! D:

There are a LOT of newbies with potential at these conventions as well as the occasional player already involved in the community. Even if you're not a big fan of anime, I urge you to attend and help some of these newbies get more involved in the more hardcore fighting game community.

Marvin/Dr Koku will likely be in attendance. I'm pretty sure Ray mentioned he would be there. JimmyOh mentioned something to me when I saw him over at Showtime Sports Cards as well.

Hopefully I'll see a few of you there.

Dang I won't be there on Sunday, but yeah interesting to see that they're still attempting to run a gg tourney.

Now the question is, will SSF4 or MvC3 turnout be larger? Taking bets now.

Did you get that whole "get access to the game room for ten bucks deal" going or not?

I did for other conventions, but not this one.

If you're coming just for gaming and you'd like to see a gaming only pass, the only thing I can suggest is to post that you'd like to see it in the future on their forum. Currently the directors for this convention (as well as Phoenix Comicon and Sabotencon) feel as if they don't NEED to offer a gaming only pass because they want attendees to be there for all of the events.

The pricing isn't bad for a convention (especially when you get a free shoulder bag that retails at $20), but if you don't want the shoulder bag and only come for gaming I can see how the pricing isn't appealing.

Full weekend pass with free "Mythwear" bag is $40 before March 25th ($45 after)

Otherwise, single day passes can be purchased for Fri = 20, Sat = 25, Sun = 15

The thing that you guys don't realize, is that at ANIME conventions, people want to play GG and enjoy playing GG. I don't know how long that will last after a few of you crush their spirit, but it is an opportunity to get new people into the game and possibly train them and grow the community, which is what I'd like to see you guys to do.

I can have a dedicated GG:AC+ setup with TE fightsticks modded with PSX digital pads at the convention from start to finish and it will get quite a bit of play.

They got me before you met me too, you should see my ID that is me from the future, since I look 35.

I would go if it was THIS weekend, since I'm in town for the weekend.

So, what are this weeks lunch/dinner plans? And is that MvC3 tourny at PCP going to happen?

5 pm? Man I missed that time somewhere. I CANNOT CONFIRM OR DENY

Señor Castle, I understand what you mean, I'm just saying it's hard to get anybody interested in the game when SSF4 and MvC3 are so prominent atm. It warms my heart to see new people trying GG, and then I flat-line when I hear them talk about it like they know what's going on.

Either way I'll be there for panels on Friday and Saturday anyways so I suppose I'll stop by and check it out.
