Maybe I'll play for another month after patch/US Release. Lorenzo's pool has people I've seen on streams in it. I haven't seen Lorenzo play CP, but I think he should be good. I recognize almost everyone in Ryan's pool, though. Rofl. Including people I thought quit BB. Hmm....I actually kinda miss the game, now.

It would've been nice for them to remix the music, but I still like the new BGM and they all fit the characters at least. And yeah I don't really get how it sounds like BB music either.

Ryuuka Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) Okay I probably phrased that a bit awkwardly. Guilty has always been all about its music. A lot of shit in the game is a reference or homage to some song, band, or musical term. The soundtrack was no different, with a lot of the songs being direct ripoffs (let's call them homage) to popular rock/metal songs. It's not so much that "new burly heart is better," but rather "Potemkin doesn't sound like led zeppelin anymore." What I mean is that they're stripping away some of guilty's previous design philosophy in favor of making some kind of new "identity" that players new to the franchise can identify with the series. I'm just worried that they're going to turn guilty into just another blazblue, where the only thing that sets it apart are the characters and the soundtrack by daisuke. I don't t hate the new soundtrack by any means, I just feel like the one thing they should not have fucked with in the game was the mmusical references and now they've gone and made it into something different. It's okay though I'll just download the old soundtrack as DLC when they release it along with the guilty anime bluray set in 2015. Edited February 23, 2014 by Ryuuka

As for BB, I think ALL the CP remakes are better than the old ones, but I think that's just my bias towards Galneryus.

Drumming isn't as technical and guitars aren't tuned as low as before. Nothing is ever going to beat Feel a Fear, those guitar riffs were just too good. I don't really mind either way though, they wanted to Guilty a little differently for once, might as well do a new soundtrack too Edited February 23, 2014 by Greyvangelist
