Guilty has always been all about its music. A lot of shit in the game is a reference or homage to some song, band, or musical term. The soundtrack was no different, with a lot of the songs being direct ripoffs (let's call them homage) to popular rock/metal songs... I just feel like the one thing they should not have fucked with in the game was the musical references and now they've gone and made it into something different.

But Brian, how do you know they aren't referencing modern classics from Fallout Boy and Avenged Sevenfold?

I don't enjoy the new music much either. References aside, the new soundtrack gives off a much more juvenile feeling to me when I listen to it.

That reminds me, I learned today that the intro to One Winged Angel was referencing the intro of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix.

Sol's combos are looking really fun to me, even if a bunch of them are variants on old dustloop stuff.

Also, based on what I've seen, the new RC system not only slows time, but increases hitstun as well. I've seen several things combo with RCs that would normally whiff.

I don't think it's possible for Sol to ever not be fun. Riot Stomp/Bandit Bringer YRC won't be as tricky as FRC though...

Looks like the bracket changed slightly from when I posted it. Originally you and Lorenzo fought first round. Glad someone caught it and stopped two AZ players from fighting right away.

It also seems that players in my pool were shifted around slightly too. Not really a big deal I guess.
