Wow, you sure like being a faggot of the highest order. Every game has it's own methods of balance, the only thing you should ask for is a high range of character viability (which is what's desired in the first place anyway)

High range of viability is good, but they should all be good at something without entering "Broken" or "Cheap" range. Some characters will naturally be better than others, but there should never be hopeless matches, and there shouldn't be a huge differential between the top and bottom of the list.

If all characters are broken, the game is by definition balanced, since being broken is the standard baseline.

So then, how is that balanced game still broken? Because it seems to me that you're saying that even if MvC3 is balanced by its brokenness, it's still a broken game, even though it's balanced.

I've played plenty. Even though it had balance issues, I feel the best SF game is Third Strike, even though i'm not a huge fan of SF. I still think one of the best fighters ever is Garou.
