Jackie Chandler Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Good news and bad news: Good news- I got my Dazzle HD and the necessary cables today. :D Bad news- I just found out there's something wrong with my computer that won't let .exe programs install anything. D: So I've got all the hardware set up, but I can't install Studio 14 (recording software) using the included disk. I'm looking into finding a complete copy somewhere, and I definitely should be able to find a working one or get the issue resolved before the tourney. There's just like a 1% chance I won't and I won't, so I wouldn't be able to use my computer to record at the tournament. I'll keep you all posted.

Last time I did that, I won the tournament. I'm pretty sure I will not allow to you sweep everyone. And if I can't do it, due to rust, I put my faith in UMAD. <3 Milln

Milln Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 Updated the Opening Post with information on venue fee and a change to the rules. There will be slight space limitations, as we will be INSIDE the arcade, so we can't have more than 3 setups. If you want to cry about being cramped, i'd have to unwillingly jack up the venue fee to 10 dollars and there must be at least 15 people CONFIRMED to move to a more open area. In the interest of money johns and general fun... the change was made. Please review it.
Astaroth136 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 That's not too big of a problem to me. I've played in tournaments in that small area. It's only difficult for spectators. With that said, I'm still bringing the "executive chair" as usual. I usually just set in a spot and leave it there for me and others to use throughout the day.

I was thinking about that. It would really depend on how many people we have come out, as well. We'll see how it goes.

Good news: I finally got Pinnacle Studio installed on my laptop, and my new laptop charger. My old one fried, but I didn't mention it because I realize this isn't my blog. >_> Bad news: The frame rate is GOD AWFUL. Like... Inexcusably so. I tried recording a bit last night and out of the 30-ish seconds I recorded, it lost 600-something frames. :/ So I need to look into doing some maintenance on it, I suppose. Hopefully it'll be 100% by the time the tournament rolls around.

Actually I don't care about the MM, I just want to see other solid players tackle my favorite or hardest matchup. Whichever you wanna call it. The whore struggles in that one.
