Lord Knight Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 You might have noticed in some recent vids (especially Litchi vs Bang) that occasionally, the player will opt not to use Daisharin or Kokushi, but instead will do okizeme with just the staff. Corner Combo enders that lead into this okizeme: xx itsuuA > jBC > 4kote > jC xx ittsuA > 6kote > 5C > jBC > 4kote > late falling jC > 2C > 6C(2) > [D] Okizeme options: 1. ]D[ > rising jC(whiffs) > airdash jCB 2. ]D[ > rising jC(whiffs) > land 2B > 2C[m] 3. ]D[ > rising jC(whiffs) > land throw ]D[ > rising jC will stop no tech/late tech. Anytime you hear/see/read reference to Litchi 3way, it's referring to this.
Dragonthorn Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Just wondering if there was a other set up to this 3-way? I actually prefer picking them up with itsuuC, jC, 4kote, falling jC, (pause) 5D, j9C for this. I can do the land throw part and the 2B 2C[m] part, but not the airdash jCB for some reason.
Nakkiel Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Technically you can set this up any way you want, as long as you get the staff set nearby in 2D set and get falling j.C or 6C knockdown. You just have to remember not to have too much proration, otherwise they'll be able to tech between j.C 4kote falling j.C and the hits of 6C. To get the airdash j.CB, make sure you're hitting j.C as early as you can while rising up. Litchi should recover right after she starts falling and that gives you enough time to airdash.
