I know Scott and Jeff passed it on to me, Willy and Crosell last time but we won't need that many people for a smaller event like this. I personally am willing to run the whole thing myself if need be. It'd be convenient since I also usually help Rin do random odds and ends with Recording while hes either player or snapping some pictures so I can be extra useful this time :3 Sooooooooooooooooo does anyone ever plan on answering this?? Would be kinda nice to know, just sayin' and my offer still stands :3

Seriously though, how hard could running a bracket be? The only issue is trying to get all your competitors to not go to the nearest fried chicken depot in the middle of matches.

The only issue is trying to get all your competitors to not go to the nearest fried chicken depot in the middle of matches. running a tournament is hard when nothing goes as planned ie... btw all of i'm listing here has more or less actually happened people not wanting to play on myung's sticks @super nci catherine stealing the show people always stealing the setups to play casuals people being hard to find, going off without telling TOs etc making sure you do matches in the right order so you keep the brackets running smoothly make sure you actually seed people correctly (someone fucked up once) knowing how brackets work in case you lose them on the computer (tsubasa david is pro at this) knowing when a round-robin or pool-play tournament would be better (sort of happens i guess) the more you know

So if anyone bitches, I'm gonna get mad :3

Spirit Juice Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Very unlikely I can make it to this month's NCI. I'll go if absolutely necessary but would prefer not to. If Willy doesn't want to run brackets, he could at least hopefully bring his laptop so you guys can use TIO. If all else fails, you can just use paper brackets. As for seeding, I guess you can just use last season's seeding results for this month's seeding. If this month's tournament is a ranbat, you can just use the results of this month's ranbat for the seeding for next month's. Feel free to ask questions.

OrionXElite Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I just wanted to remind people who wanted to use their own sticks or pads during SNCI, ALL of Myung's cabs now have USB extensions on them meaning anyone can use their own Stick/Pad on any of them so no need to scramble over who gets to use what setup or whatever.
