Hey hey, I wanna hold a casuals at my place for anime games. BB, gg, ah3 etc. Im down in fayetteville and the more the merrier for sure. Stream will be present. The main goal of the casuals is to get content out for these anime games, allow people to learn new games. I have an interest in learning both ah and gg but not sure where to start with either, and over all just act as a social gathering. if people want and gain enough interest support we can have a tournament, i dont mind. characters like bang already have a hard enough time with her pressure. I'd take fewer gaps in block strings, than a +1 2a imo.

I believe that is the other asteriod vision follow up, that is angled upward, dont believe its safe though, have seen minimal match usage out of it other than gimmicks. cosmic ray is +2 or something along that lines good pressure tool.

just because shes the worst doesn't mean disrespect. People can be good with the worst characters, and goro has shown that. The fact is, people have better tools, people get a lot gimmicks. Makotos play style is super straight forward as it is essentially just a neutral game, that well quite frankly other characters have just as strong neutral game with other tools. I dont feel like she is bad bad, she low tier but very competitive. My biggest complaint of her has always been mobility option, with 3c getting nerfed and astreriod vision path getting changed every game. I feel like she hasn't really found that nitch to get in, to give her a little some special, that and lack of viable cross up but thats just personal preference i suppose, not something she really needs. In extend she feels like sakura in sfiv, minus the crazy damage. lol. Makoto is still a fun character and perfectly viable, so dont stress too much about tier lists or what other top players think unless you're ultra competitive. I feel you'll learn more by staying loyal than going to the top, but thats just me.

legit question, does makoto have any burst safe corner combos or mid combos. I seem to always eat the burst, and not sure how to approach burst baiting in combos without being obvious, since well most people burst during the drive since its pretty broadcasted. Any suggestions?

Makotos defensive options are pretty fine. A quick 2a, a dp for desperation and parry which is questionable. The dp has its uses just throwing it out makes people worried to pressure you and with 50 heat you can get a good combo sure it can be baited by things like jin 2b but for them to bait they have to go into more predictable pressure strings that can give you the advantage. Her defensive game is in a great state considering how her offense is (extend is questionable lol imo) And to put things in perspective, we could have it like bang where lol 6d is our best option or quick get up 5a. She has a good set up tools at her disposal that only get better in CP.

Been busy with work since i got it, not really an excuse i need to do my own research, Maybe i'll do that. lol ^^b anyways.
