I've only got one video of me playing against Boss (Gold) Order Sol, but that's it. I'm pretty sure that doesn't count.

I don't like the jap version either, it's weird to get swcl sometimes, like you do the same way that you did before but don't get the clean hit, especially when it's the 4th(or more) swcl, I don't know how to explain, but it's weird. ken2900, what means cg?

Anyway, some moments can be a little random, since were both testing stuff. This were recorded pretty late in the night. The ones recorded earlier will come as soon as I get to see them too (cause kekken has all the stuff) and he just kinda randomly choose some fights because we were recording the whole night. As soon as everything will be uploaded, I'll probably post this in the Guilty Pleasures section too. But you can see at least something for now.

As for the bandit revolver stuff, yeah I can see it being used against people trying to escape by jumping that don't faultless... but I play against a really good Slayer a lot and after being punished a couple of times really hard I've pretty much removed that random bandit revolver from my game as the risk/reward on it isn't good enough for me.
TITANIUM BEAST!!! Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Well, another possible option is to do air BR from a JCable move and FRC to bait their counter and then punish them. That's theory though. I would expect using BR against Slayer to be a particularly bad idea.
Spirit Juice Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I think it really depends on who the player is you're playing against. If they don't punish it, keep doing it. If they keep punishing it, then you should probably stop. Being able to adapt to all situations is what makes a good player a good player. I agree that Champion is probably the most solid from what I've seen in videos, but something doesn't sit well with me. It feels like... he's too "passive" for lack of better words and not active enough. Still solid though. Also, it'd be good to see matches that are pretty close.

I haven't seen it before, I might adopt it myself. Just one thing I noticed is that it was the same for Anji and Slayer, does that mean it's like all character setup? Aside from Potemkin.
VR-Raiden Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 All-around Poke: the combos I was doing work on all medium weight people (all males except bridget, and Dizzy and Aba). Robo ky and Potemkin you can do the same basic combos you just have to alter the timing. That wild throw combo works on robo ky, but on potemkin just do j.D SW repeated. As for light weights (females minus Dizzy, Aba) you'll need to change the combos up. Like CH 2D>GF FRC instead of CH 2D>GF>Fefnir. Or because they are higher up, 2H JC SW where you would normally j.S SW. In other cases, like if they're knocked all the way across the screen or after CH 2D> GF FRC or BR RC> SW (as long as you dont hit them really close the the corner), you can do jump, SW. and as you can see, I don't do all the "official" combos such as j. D after GV or 66j.D for Wild throw (unless I'm feeling extra confident). I mess them up too much for it to be worth trying. j.S for those is a LOT easier, for me anyway. Needs more GRANDVIPER. Good stuff anyway. The end of match with Nerina made me lol when he alpha countered after first hit of VV and then got hit with second on the way up. First round with Eddie looked frustrating, seeing as how you should have had it. Smart IB'ing etc though. Though I could tell Hellmonkey wasn't that experienced with Eddie, BR so easy to beat at end of pressure.
