But on a serious note, what the community is doing is what brought this up. In some areas he was banned, and in other areas he was allowed. I say we should take a vote on what people want (I will remain neutral because it doesn't really bother me if he's there or not, despite previous statements).

yeah, I'm not about to vote or anything, I'm just thinking of times I've seen the question of "should x char be banned?" come up in other games. HDR is a pretty good example - the rebalanced Akuma was initially allowed in tournaments, but the players made a very good case for why he's overpowered (including Damdai maining the character and winning tournaments with him specifically to prove his point) and ultimately a consensus was reached that the character should be banned. On the other hand, there's the case of Algol in SC4 where he was banned without any major tournaments being won with him, which split the community in half.. not to mention it was later discovered that he's not top tier.

Oh yeah.. plus when SC4 was in Evo the community failed to make a convincing argument for banning Algol so he was allowed and didn't even end up making top 8.

All that being said, I like that you guys are deciding it based on a vote with ppl that actually show up to tournaments :D

You can't 6D in blockstun.

Yeah, but 6D is a counter, so instead of blocking, wouldn't you just use it?

In blockstun, you can't attack, but you can still IB. If the move in question is something like an overhead, then there is likely enough time for the blockstun to run out so then 6D would be the best option.
