Mr. Kimura Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Hey Proto about how long will it take for me to be able to actually pay for Arcana Heart? I ordered about a week or so ago (about Nov. 29th).
Senzait Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 would you guys say that Hazama and Lambda-11 are similar characters?
Senzait Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 what makes them different characters? Im asking because I seriously have no idea not because im saying they are, btw.
The Katz Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 would you guys say that Hazama and Nu-13 are similar characters? A little bit.
The Katz Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Honestly, though, The only similarity is that they can zone. That's it.
ShardZ Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Hey Proto about how long will it take for me to be able to actually pay for Arcana Heart? I ordered about a week or so ago (about Nov. 29th). if you ordered from AmiAmi, you aren't charged until it actually ships.
A.X.I.S. Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Lambda is a pure zoner made to keep people away...hazama doesn't. /half assed explaination.
The Katz Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Lambda is a pure zoner made to keep people away...hazama is not a pure zoner. /half assed explaination. Fixed.
Senzait Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 they both share combo hit confirming from full screen though right?
The Katz Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I think Lambda has an easier time with anti-air drive combos, but less options for ground hits. Simple answer: Pretty much.
Skye Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 You lost me. Is that you talking in that last vid skye? That's me in both vids.
Delrian Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 AXIS posted in a different thread that Lambda was a reactionary character. From my experience, I agree with him, though I try to avoid relying on my drive moves for hitconfirming combos, simply because a whiffed sword is really bad. 6D/2D make very good anti air, and will usually hit (or make them block) when you're predicting your opponent. At one time I made CPU hakumen too afraid to airdash in because of those moves, and the CPU wasn't smart enough to think of any other options. Hazama uses his drive to get around and get in (a little like Tao in that respect) and deal damage with mostly close range combos. Lambda's C and D moves hit pretty far, so she can stay a little further away during a combo than can most other characters. Hope this helped. I can't really think of anything else right now.

Mr. Kimura Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 if you ordered from AmiAmi, you aren't charged until it actually ships. Alright, thanks.
Toasty Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I pity the fool that didn't call off school today and made me drive in for over an hour in this ice.
Mr. Kimura Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Goldsboro puts you about 1 hour outside of Raleigh/Durham, and 1 hour outside of Greenville. That's pretty much where most of the GG/BB takes place, tournaments aside. Those take place in Greensboro, which is about 2.5 hrs from Goldsboro. Being in Goldsboro also puts you in the same city as Brandino, if you wanted to play Melty Blood. Joe can't wait to move to North Carolina next year.
unsanctifier Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I pity the fool that didn't call off school today and made me drive in for over an hour in this ice. Oh look Americans can't drive in Winter.
Danny Schme Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Oh look Americans can't drive in Winter. If its raining hard enough, most Americans in the north east can't even drive properly. Its real sad.
Mr. Kimura Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 When we Southerners see a flake of snow we close schools and stock up on food like its a nuclear winter.
Toasty Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Oh look Americans can't drive in Winter. I can, but no one else seems able to (just like when it isn't icy). Besides, you are South of us; you have it easy. Anything you get, we usually get 10x worse and we still manage (exception being Detroit, which usually treats snowfall in a similar manner that Joe described the South, and guess which city I had to drive through).
