Seiki Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I convinced my parents to do the moving on Sunday. All I need is a ride to the tournament from my house (which is like 5 mins away by driving) and if possible a ride to kyle's hotel and back to my house sunday morning! Kyle can you do that?

Also, they asked me if you guys had a youtube housing all the MTNBB videos. That got me wondering as well, do you guys? We need one. >_> As far as I know, the only MTNBB videos on Youtube exist on my channel here (shameless promotion lol): http://www.youtube.com/user/JackieChandler?feature=mhum But if you guys wanted to make a channel dedicated to it or see if one of the more well-known channels would to host it (the BBVlog comes to mind) I'd be up for it.

HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT I thought this was one of those "we'll 'think about it' to keep people happy until the deadline gets close and then we won't be ABLE to add it" things. 2011's WAY too hype already. :O My only complaint is that BB is set to 3-5 rounds rather than 2-3. When I hosted a tourney on GameFAQs a while back, I got a lot of complaints that "certain characters get advantages with 3-5 rounds due to lack of Bursts." At the time I didn't realize it, but I have to agree now. I mean, that's one less DP for Astaroth per match. :/ I didn't want to bring it up just yet and sound ungrateful, but I want to mention it before Kumite. If one of the reasons they were thinking about not adding BB is because of time constraints, it may work out better for everyone to only play 2-3 rounds anyway.

If so, that's amazing. XD I think the idea is awesome. I agree that people get really pulled in by "official" stuff, and given a channel specifically for MTNBB, we'd get a lot more views. If you wanted to make a channel for it, I'd be more than happy to upload what we'll get in upcoming tournaments (and what I got from the last tournament, if you wanted that footage as well :D).

I've still got two capture cards we can use for the upcoming tournament- one Dazzle Plus HD, and one Firewire Dazzle. I might be able to bring my dad's laptop for the Dazzle Plus HD and I'm already bringing mine for the Hauppauge. That would just leave the Firewire Dazzle. If you've got a computer that's compatible with Firewire and wouldn't mind volunteering it, please get in touch with me. I've got an external hard drive so you wouldn't even have to worry about it eating up your hard drive space. Thanks in advance.

A two-and-a-half drive is mainly getting me, especially if only 10 or so people play in the BB tournament. I usually get someone to take me, but making them stand around/go around Knoxville seems weird. I'm also not sure how they would feel about me bringing the "executive chair," although, Vandy knows me and shouldn't mind.

(still at work, posting from the MillnPhone) There are two MTN videos on my channel "InfiEphe" of Naimat's Bang versus astaroth's Tager. Idea for YouTube channel would be fantastic and I'm definitely on board with it. As for a name, I'd say something along the lines of "Middle Tennessee Needs Gaming" or something similar, since in the future I'd like to branch out and run more than simply one event of BlazBlue. Naimat, I'll give you a ride if absolutely no one else can. You can always count on me. I might, might join KiT's BB tournament. I'm very busy right now and can't do any checking.

I'll look into it. Arcana was fun when I played it. Mvc3 is hype but game galaxy will have tourneys of their own for that. I'm always for suggestions of games that many people would play. I might even put up some Melty.
