Do people automatically start coming out of the woodwork and start playing again just because there's a local tournament? No. Back when I was at RU, UGS had sometimes 3 setups for GG with 10+ people there in the rotation. We didn't need tournaments, just a place to play with a lot of people living near by. Our problem is that our community is so spread out that it's hard for us to find a good place to go. I have a feeling that RIL's parents got fed up with us, Mike jumped off the face of the earth along with Geo, and Doomie is an unemployed sadlife (I MISS YOU JEFF). For right now Mike and I just meet up at Andy's every now and again to get some games in. To seriously get the scene started back up again we'd have to meet more than once a month and maybe try to get Kyohei to come (which probably won't happen). I like being optimistic but it's a real pain in the ass to meet up somewhere when we all pretty much live in different counties. Maybe we could all meet at Justin's sometime during his break? It wouldn't be a hard drive for any of us. (Sorry if I just volunteered you to host Justin, but you see what I'm getting at etc...). I'm down for Gear whenever though, but probably not for another week until I'm finished with this grad class. Edited December 7, 2011 by St1ckBuG

If you guys give me a date or whatever I can try to work things out, I've been swamped by school and other stuff. I'm still more than welcome to have you guys over if possible. mikenapalm Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Good news, everyone! Im transferring to a new store again. One that wont give me shit about having weekends off. So hopefully pretty soon I'll be able to start hosting again and even traveling out to Brooklyn. Body Shop is looking real sad now without a venue. So my obligations to that every other week are free'd up. Hopefully this is the start of something more regular for the area as NEC made me realize how free I am now that I can't play regularly.

(that's a friday, both accounts) MENTION WHICH ONE YOU LIKE, OR BOTH IF BOTH WORK. i am 5 minutes from parkway exit 82. I have 2 TVs (1 crt, 1 lcd that does not lag) and a xbox with bb. I should be able to get a ps2 setup with gear also. Should have my ps2 stick up and running well before then, and my xbox stick is dual modded. So you guys can bring some systems, and we can anime. The place comfortably hosts 8. Let's take it from there, how does that shit sound?
