St1ckBuG Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 The program I'm in for work requires that I do an 'external' rotation for 4-6 weeks within my first 2 and a half years. The division I work for likes it when we do CAFSU work. The only 3 places I can do CAFSU work are: San Diego, Bremerton, and Norfolk. The location I get depends on where the carriers are and if they have room for me. Yes it will be different because I won't be doing any real engineering work, but rather working with the guys that install our equipment on the ship. Pretty much I get to experience how much of a pain in the ass it is to work with our equipment. It'll be interesting to say the least, it just sucks that it's in the worst location out of the possible three... The first weekend in March I'll probably be going to Final Round so I won't be free that Friday. I think the rest of that month should be good though.
St1ckBuG Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I'm in an extended stay hotel, so I should have internet and I'll still have my phone. I have a feeling the internet will be shitty, but at least it will be something. I doubt I'll be at Winter Brawl because it's a 6 hour drive one way and I have to wake up at 4:30AM for work, so I'd have to leave super early Sunday.

Ironically its closer than season's beatings and I've done that three times. I'll look into it and let people know more as I figure shit out.
