My thoughts are that justice is a fucking whack ass character that should never have existed as a playable character honestly. Your wishlist also offends me, this thread offends me. I hope justice is never playable again.

Sorry all who are reading this thread, which is probably nobody but hopefully a mod, however the 8 on the break tournaments for P4U2 and GGXrd are finished and done. There will be no more tournaments for those games there on fridays unless interest grows once more and someone steps up to run it. It was definitely fun, I hope everyone that showed up enjoyed themselves and made some new connections. Keep on mashing people!

Played this matchup from both sides now, can't say for certain on some things. One thing in this matchup is magnetism doesn't affect the doll, so if she does a normal and you pull her in the doll stays where it is and continues attacking from its position, this can be pretty bad for her so don't be afraid to throw out buttons in neutral if she's magnetized. Her projectile is easy work for sledge, make them think twice about trying to punish with the followup if they RC or something. when she's doing rekka's always block standing on the third hit, she can't do a low for her third hit on rekkas but she can do overhead. Also watch out for overhead, they can't get anything off it without meter but its 1k raw each time so avoid it. I want to say that i've done meaty 5a and blocked her reversal on wakeup but I need to test that to be sure, for now though just be aware that she can charge her reversal and its fully invuln the whole time. spark bolt beats her projectile. her normals beat yours so be careful in footsies and neutral situations. Not sure if you can sledge the doll normals, I'll test that. Matchup is pretty in tagers favor though, I'd say probably 6.5-3.5 6-4 somewhere around there.

Depending on the availability of setups either both start at 9PM, or the game that has the most entrants if we only have one setup.

I don't really know of any events happening in jersey. There's a few sporadic ones that occur every once in a while as well as some majors, but this is the only recurring event for GGXrd or P4U2 in new jersey that I know of.

Edited topic info to reflect the correct date AND updated information about the stream as well as hopefully made the "please bring setups" part noticeable enough that people will actually bring setups now.

I blame the inactivity of this thread for why nobody in jersey seems to know about the break biweeklies for Guilty Gear Xrd and Persona 4 Arena 2 Ultimax.

Alright guys, thanks everyone for coming out to the first tournament. I know it was a rough start, and a crazy event but thanks to that all manners of details have been hammered out thanks to this and this coming tournament on the 27th of February will be run much smoother. Please bring setups, I will be there (with a monitor this time) at 7 PM to start taking sign ups and have casuals until 9 PM. 9 PM is when the tournament will start from now on, most everyone should be able to make it by this time so there shouldn't be many people running late. By the way I've neglected to mention this but someone left a slim PS3 power cable and an HDMI cable at the venue, I am holding onto them and will be more than happy to return them to their rightful owners at 8 on the break next friday. Please come out again and have fun with all of us!

Please do, setups and TVs are very much appreciated. I will only have one setup for either game once I arrive so the more setups you bring the faster we run the tournament and the more games you get to play.

I appreciate the offer but in all likelihood if The505 brings his stream setup we should be fine. My issue with the HD recorder you specified is it could take some figuring out to get it working and it's much more my priority to run the actual tournament itself. To be honest I can't even give a good estimate for how many people will show up, but I'm hoping a good amount. At some point, hopefully before the 27th I'll have gotten my hands on some better equipment to stream with. Please do come out and play though!

I can always start it at 8:30 or a bit later if there's not too many entrants, and I can always try to hold off on a match if I know in advance. As long as you tweet at me I can try to work something out. 8 is just the optimal start time as if there's a good number it would take quite a while to run both games and I don't want to inconvenience chris. I'll add my twitter info in the first post.
