That reminds me Wallace, I saw someone do a no meter counter-hit hades to some sort of air combo to berial corner carry from midscreen earlier today. Might be worth looking into? Although I don't know if that's counter-hit exclusive or not.

Oh and shout outs to my stick not working with the converter and dropping easy combos that I usually don't miss. Well time to relearn the matchups and get into the habit of using Optic Barrel more again.

I forget what kind of stick it is and if you said it was dual modded or not. If it is, or if it's easy and inexpensive to do, I'll probably want to buy it from you in a few weeks. Also I think I will be buying the stick from you if you want to bring it to the next meetup. $80 right? Also regarding the adapter, I learned from my friend that it's for PS2 pads/sticks, ps3 pads, and ps3 HORI sticks only, for whatever reason. So TEs straight up don't work on it. Very strange, but whatever, mystery solved.

Sure I looked at some things to be honest like the art books, the BBCS2 mook, basically anything in the corner of the room we were playing, but I definitely didn't see an iPad, hope it comes up though. I lost an iTouch a year ago so I know how it feels to lose something expensive.

All I remember there being on the living room table while we were playing was the stuff in my pockets and your xbox controller.

glod Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I could do a morning/midday Wednesday session if others are up for it-- can't host though, as usual. I'll be travelling for Thanksgiving so I'd like to get out of SD by 1 or 2. So anywhere from 10 to 2 would work for me. I also am available the entire day Tuesday, not sure what everyone else has going on though.

Wild Wallice Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Not really. If it increases substantially from what it is now, I'd probably stop having casuals at my place. As for Shtkn's place, we once had 4-5 setups going, but only two of those were Shtkn's, the rest were brought by the guests who came over. We would probably need to find a new venue if we suddenly got many more people.
Wild Wallice Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. Unfortunately I've gotta cancel the gathering next Friday, Dec 2nd. I'm taking the lsat in Irvine on Dec 3rd so I will need to be in that area on Friday both to last minute cram and to be on time the day after. I'll be able to host on Friday Dec 9 from 5 PM to whenever, since that will be the last day of finals for me. After that though, I will not be in San Diego again until the next quarter starts at the beginning of January. But I will probably be going to SoCal Regionals at UCI on Dec 17, so hopefully I'll see some of you there. See you guys in two weeks!

I'll also be out of SD for the later half of December (After the 17th), except I'll be around the 29th and 30th if we want to do something then. Regarding more setups, I can provide a setup too, if we ever need more. I only have the game on PS3 but I could bring an xbox too if someone wanted to bring their copy.
