glod Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 It's been a crazy weekend so I didn't get to post about what happened on Friday but we did a KOF tournament and a random free super smash bros (N64) tournament, there was also lots of guilty gear. There's going to be some other random game tournament this week with prizes provided by Joe (or is that next week? i forget actually). I played a lot of AH3 this weekend and I really want to encourage more people to check that game out. Even if you're not a fan of the aesthetics of that game (I know I've expressed my disapproval several times) the game is solid as heck in terms of mechanics and is just really fun to play. People will teach you if you're just starting out. I want more people to play against!

bellreisa Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 the suggestion was floated to me that we go to super instead; personally i think if you're really trying to sit down and learn a game a tourney environment is not the place to do it, but it's up to you guys. if everyone wants to head to rebel up instead i can do that. i will say my place is quieter and more comfortable (unless you're allergic to cats)

Hmm, I'd be interestead in coming along for AH3 at Bells if that's possible. Been to super arcade once before, it's kinda far off I think. I'm also not into persona much any more.

bellreisa Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 few things about bellhaus 1) i have 2 cats so if you're allergic bring meds 2) most people prefer to sleep over cause of distance. i have a futon, couches, and some blankets but bringing your own may be best 3) we always start w/serious play until we end up drinking and playing all sorts of poverty-ass shit late into the night 4) don't open the black folder from the black guy

Important for people that are entering P4A at EVO, because it's likely going to be the last LA event before EVO itself. We'll still have stuff on Fridays this week and next of course.
