To explain a bit, the "Stylish" thing is meant as a balancing mechanism. It's a handicap.

Of course, that doesn't stop you from practicing with it, but it's meant in good faith to keep things silly.

Someone has broken into the venue and stolen a bunch of stuff, so that spot's unavailable until further notice. Marvel Mondays, OFC, and ioG are also cancelled. So if we want meetups it'll have to be somewhere else for a time.

What. Aw man, that really sucks. I assume an investigation is underway? Should probably keep an eye out on Craigslist too...

Do we have a list of what's missing? How did they get in?

Ryan (owner) is taking an inventory to see what's been taken specifically today. In the meantime, yeah, watching Craigslist for shady listings is probably a good idea. I didn't leave anything there, but if you did/do, make sure to check that it hasn't been taken once we know what's left.

The twitter feed on the http://www.sandiegofgc.com/ page has some more details. Sounds like the door got bashed in overnight. Thankfully they didn't make out with *all* that much stuff, all things considered. I expected a lot worse.

Thanks for the link. I was surprised they left the stream gear and (most of) the arcade sticks intact. Honestly, as severe as the financial loss is the hit to the morale is ten times worse. We should beat out the frustration at Kevin's tonight and get some positivity injected back into the scene.

so apparantly the saltmines are not avaiable this friday night, so i shall be hosting instead. unforutnately, i won't be back home till 830 or so.

And we're going have our sessions there now. You can park anywhere except where it says Reserved. And if all the spots are taken, there is street parking a block away at Candida St. Please respect the new venue and the neighbors.

Usually around 10-15 ppl and we have a tournament + casuals for BB. We also have other games here like GG and arcana

If you want good BB matches you'll not be disappointed. We have a variety of chars being used and lots of good players too.

You can come at like 7pm and stay till 3AM or so. Tourneys last for an hour or two out of the entire duration and the rest of the time you can spend playing anything you want for fun.

We will not have Dustloop Fridays for the 4th and 11th due to AX and EVO weekend. We will back to our regular schedule on the 18th.

I was wondering; does anyone have Under night in birth? I was briefly contemplating getting it but online sounds barren for the west and if nobody cares locally either it doesn't seem worth an early import, in which case I'll just wait for a localization.

So next Friday we have some LA GG players coming down (around 4, probably more) for an exhibition match against us (but only if we have the exhibition) so probably tonight we'll be having a GG round robin tournament for seeding.
