ehuangsan Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Yeah, online is fairly dead. Some evenings I sit around and wait for people to come play, but most people refuse to play me online nowadays, including Caged. Nowadays, if I do play online I only play against select JP and NorCal people. Occasionally others show up but they're usually too far behind us.
Keo-bas Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 im not jumping online till i get my experience some experience.
Luis Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Is it bad that my Riannon never uses Stella Maris? (The orange ball that floats in the air and shoots 16 little projectiles) I can't seem to install that into my playstyle because it's too slow, but my Riannon does ok without it. But what if I do need it? If you see me do it, it was by accident. I will use it against a camping Manaka though. Â Edit: I see DJ Cream plays like me. Doesn't uses Stella Maris. I was in training room testing who has the longest lasting low emotion and the one with the longest is Awarn, while Konomi has the shortest. I did this after hearing eh-sama saying Chizuru has a long lasting low emotion from a Norcal video. I didn't know the characters having different low emotion durations.
ehuangsan Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 If you are not using Stella Maris with Riannon you are almost certainly playing bad players and/or are doing it wrong. DJCream does use it, but not as often as he should as he tries too hard to dick people over with Rathy alpha counter.  Yeah, the only reason Arawn isn't top tier is because he almost becomes the worst character in the game when he's in low emotion. This is also why Chizuru fell in tiers.
Sadv3 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 im not jumping online till i get my experience some experience. I'm not jumping online ever unless I suddenly hear aquapazza net code patch. The online is amazing now guys.
Keo-bas Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I'm not jumping online ever unless I suddenly hear aquapazza net code patch. The online is amazing now guys. Me and liuose had playable games imo. Theirs was delay but adjusting was reasonable. While on subject. Does yuki assist disable advance guarding.? I couldn't do it during yuki's assist.
Luis Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Do you mean impact guard? Yes you can do it in the Yuki assist. Part of the reason why Aquapazza lags is the majority of PS3 players are using wireless instead of wired.
ehuangsan Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 kouyakane is really freaking good at this game. I've never been so happy to take a round in AP from someone before. Not even mojirice gave me so much trouble. Â To think that Oz is even better than kouyakane is rather mindblowing to me.

FT3 in AP.. At NorCal DogFight... If I ever get my license...
lark Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Here's a sneak peak of a combo vid that I'll never finish:Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEm-beZK5z8 Â I'll be in Osaka during KVO days and Tokyo after if you want to play AP in Japan.
lark Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Here be footage of KSB casuals  https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLT1a3Ajiu2xabWR1iawHxhNvRCrSEfdOI  It's mostly ernest beating people up and getting beaten up. Also me getting rekt.
Luis Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I only watched the final video. Bad idea on level 3 at the end. Maybe he wanted to get health back because Chizuru's level 3 makes her healing a little faster.
MikuruX Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I guess it showed just how much I loved this game back in the day. All of my advice I gave back when CagedNightmare was just beginning the game turned against me. Although I'm happy that I helped in some way to get him his Chizuru game up but I guess it's also my fault for not continuing my practice as it turned the teacher is getting his ass murked now. lol  At any rate, I'm back to playing again but I'm mostly in practice mode right now to get myself back to familiarizing with the systems again (and with Chizuru). I have to juggle this game along with UNIEL & DBFC for right now.
ehuangsan Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I'm not sure which vid it was, but If I did a lvl 3, it was probably because I gave up. I'll also upload my KSB vids. Â At this point, I can hang with most of the regular and non-famous JP players. The famous JP players range from problematic like Sanada, to outright ridiculously untouchable like Akatsuki, Gamera and Super Riannon.

I actually recorded our matches that we had a year ago and uploaded to Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UU7Ze7ZmF8s&list=PLnxrZESWUvGmvjvWyTMgAleNdR-J1QCT-&index=6I can see you made some mistakes like not using Ma-ryan when she was still close to me, after you were sent to the other side of the screen while I was activating my super armor. You also randomly try to use level 3 without knocking me down first. The tiger can hit Chizuru from anywhere on the ground. You can try watching those to help practice if you want.  I'll also upload my KSB vids. You have a Youtube channel? What's it called?  The video I'm talking about is grand finals near the end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Koz-hyIAlPs&index=15&list=PLT1a3Ajiu2xabWR1iawHxhNvRCrSEfdOI  Now that I'm addicted to White Album and the song, Riannon is my most used character. Hakuoro is still my main, it's just that Riannon has Yuki.
ehuangsan Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 My vids are here: https://www.youtube.com/user/shizuburi/videos  As for the grand finals, Oz probably thought he was going to lose unless he tried something desparate. Gamera is incredibly good at neutral and defense, and it just seemed very unlikely for Oz to make a comeback from that deficit barring some freak mistake from Gamera. So I think he went for the lvl 3 just to try to take Llyr away from Gamera and hopefully create some counter chances while Llyr was gone. Had Oz actually succeeded in the lvl 3, I think he would've just let it run its course rather than going for the splash art just to keep Llyr out, even if he could have comboed into it unless it would result in a kill. Since in this case Sasara's lack of assist would be much more detrimental than Chizuru's lack of assist, I don't think it was the wrong move at that point, especially if your opponent's defense is freakishly good like Gamera's.  In general though, Chizuru's lvl 3 is just plain bad and entering lvl 3 is akin to surrendering. There are very few situations where using Chizuru's lvl 3 actually makes sense and I think this just happens to be one of them.

I have to juggle this game along with UNIEL & DBFC for right now. don't put yourself down man, your still a damn good player and i'm sure with a little bit of dusting off the rust the tables will be turned again. my damage may have increased stupidly due to my experimentation on a daily basis and my reflexes better, but your strategy far exceeds mine. i'm more the beserker type who likes to deal large amounts of damage to end things quickly your one who capitalizes on any mistakes the opponents makes. if you like why not try out our next tournament. we hold one every month with some of our friends. that might get your game back. btw hello to all, it's my first day here i just signed up. a big hello to goroh and eh_sama. for the record sama (regarding your much earlier post) i don't refuse to play you, it's just that i've pretty much turned to the teacher role now that i've GODed Chizuru, Sasara, and Manaka. i occasionally still do ranked for " why the heck not?" reasons (and to keep my #4 spot) but other then that i really just help out the new players now. so it's got nothing against you dude, so please don't think that. you too goroh if thats what you think as well.

A teacher that thinks Hakuoro is overpowered? Hakuoro is somewhere at the bottom of the tier list. Sure you have never beaten my Hakuoro but that doesn't mean he's broken. It just means you need more training and lots of it. People like eh-sama and anyone better than him are better suited to be teachers. You're not at the level to be considered a good teacher, especially when you still think Hakuoro is top tier. I don't believe when you say you don't wanna play eh-sama just because you God rank three characters and now play the teaching lesson role. You just don't wanna lose because you always take it to the heart. What skill level of players did you played against to reach God rank with three characters?

You just don't wanna lose because you always take it to the heart. What skill level of players did you played against to reach God rank with three characters? wow...harsh. you have to remember though that that was quite a while ago. i've actually made some very good players by teaching them. after messing around and actually getting better at the game and actually figuring out how Haku works (i've actually started dabbling in him myself, though i certainly can't use him to your level) i realize how stupid my thinking was. i was far less experienced back then when i first started playing you and didn't know really what to expect from him or how to play him. now i do. i doubt i could beat you still, since your REALLY good with your strategy and spacing and thats exactly how Haku is supposed to be played. hell you can even use his true desperation, something i can't figure out to save my life, i can only do his secondary wind desperation reliably. as for what level of players i played to get my GOD tiers, i played all levels of players from F's such as Goodcat to S's such as Soma-Atlasia, Yagami-rinn, sogo-okita128 (several times), and even eh_sama on the rare occasion, though i will admit that that was VERY rare, and when i mean very rare i mean win against. obviously, F's were my easiest win's and S's were my hardest, but i was still able to win. and honestly i think the tier list is BS when it says that Manaka is below Rhiannon. i can easily keep people (most of the time) away from me, even Sasara and Chizuru, with Manaka and if they DO get on me i can get them off me. also for the record i would like to point out i can't do ANY of Manaka's foot work i rely soley on Manaka's ranged game. i've managed only to learn enough to get people off of me. however don't think that i just spam either, all of my ranged attacks are strategically used to control my spacing. i've even mastered how to use her desperation properly and probably gotten around half my wins that way against a variety of level of opponents. where as with Rhiannon i can't keep anyone off of me or get them off of me no matter what trick i try. i find relying on her damn desperation with Yuki's help more reliable (i've actually pulled off several wins that way believe it or not) then trying to actually get someone off me cause i just can't do it. but hey thats just my opinion.

You're playing online. People say Manaka is high tier in lag.
ehuangsan Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I'm just gonna say you still have lots to learn, and kouyakane has some not so nice things to say about you lol.  The online tier list is very different from the offline tier list. Even with just the slightest introduction of lag, Sasara, Haku, and Manaka become much stronger, whereas Touka and Tamaki fall pretty hard, and to some extent, so does Chizuru.  Also Manaka is bottom tier. I could hang with uragami Manaka while I was in Japan, and he's the best Manaka in the world, which goes to show how hard it is to win with Manaka at higher levels. Spamming books and playing keep away only works online; you have to find ways to move forward offline even if you don't want to.  Lark and I will also be holding an Aquapazza review session to discuss how JP played and our impressions of JP level play from KSB, and sideblako will also be joining in. It will be dual language Japanese and English and will be on midnight PST 5/24 (3:00 AM 5/24 East Coast) - http://t.co/XPpDrfd0VF  We will probably play some AP online too, and I'm guessing some of the more famous JP players will show up to play, regardless of the horrid lag.
ChizuruFTW Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 You're playing online. People say Manaka is high tier in lag. oh i realize that i've experienced that first hand...especially the last few days for some odd reason the lags been atrocious. so i have absolutely no arguments with you on that one i completely agree. but even without lag i can do it.
