EDIT: Also, Rin, maybe 300 bucks is cheap to you, but that's a shit load of money to invest in going to a one weekend event. Even if it wasn't going to be way more than that (which it will), I wouldn't blame anyone for not doing it.

I didn't see Rin reply to this, and I could care less about this tournament, but I just want to note that what he PROBABLY meant was that a round-trip flight for "only" $300 between North-east/WC is actually a really good price right now...

The avg. price is around $400ish.

As much as I'd love to participate, regardless of how good the connection is, there will always be that full second of lag. Damn, sorry to hate, but Blaz has some of the worse net coding I've ever ran into in a while.

I think the top players will do fine IMO. Online warriors could have a chance but that's what makes it exciting =)

lo Pozer, not gonna lie but I am and have been an online warrior so this if fine by be, but by all means don't join please lol. Also BB netcode is fantastic in comparison to most games, and it's still mediocre, so anything better is a dream for the most part.

Compare to what games?

Super SF4 is just fine online.

MvC3 isn't as bad as most people are making it out to be. It isn't amazing, but still good.

BlazBlue... maybe I'm just spoiled by only playing it on Arcade but, holy fuck is the online awful. The net coding itself has issues spotting a good ping or not on other lobbies. How the hell do you fuck up that kind of coding? And when you do find that "lagless" game, fuckin' hell!

I tried giving the online play a chance.

After an hour of playing, I still couldn't even get a basic BnB combo down with Ranga (and I mean a damn basic combo. Looking at B C into rocket punch, shit was almost impossible for me).

CT was good.

psn even makes it worse.
