unsanctifier Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Haha yeah Millia mixups are a pain in the ass if you aren't comfortable with it then. Just takes time dude. Or you can do what I did in Grand Finals and show off your character's bullshit to piss off fatragers even more.
LuminAbyss Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I am totally down for that lol. Cool! LET THE INVASION BEGIIIN.
Delrian Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 If you can't beat em', join em'. Another way of saying "Give up."? Gee, thanks.
unsanctifier Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Don't quit ABA you have good progress, but you have no idea how to space... Combos are whatever, just muscle memory that's it. Don't worry too much about those
LunaKage Posted March 11, 2011 Author Posted March 11, 2011 Combos are whatever, just muscle memory that's it. Don't worry too much about those COMBOS ARE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Katz Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 (edited) >After Guilty Gear Maniac comp matches Fuck Millia. 6K is too fast Hair car being a low is dumb. Danzai hurts when on the receiving end. DANZAI!!! 6k is 18 frames. That's a bit fast, but not as fast as tk.j5K as fuzzy. Hair car is SLOW as hell. D: You should practice blocking low if you have issues doing so. Also, Del, in the great words of my GG mentor: "Defense takes time. You may be able to get combos and FRC's down, but learning how to block takes time." It seems like common knowledge to me, but saying it anyway. Listen to Canada. Spacing is something to work on if you aren't good at it. Know what normals are fast and which have good range, and use in the appropriate situations. Edited March 11, 2011 by The Katz
unsanctifier Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 COMBOS ARE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COMBOS ARE FOR FAST FOOD PLACES ONLY And Coney Island, I don't count them as fast food, too godly.
Delrian Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 (what is this I don't even) DANZAI!!! 6k is 18 frames. That's a bit fast, but not as fast as tk.j5K as fuzzy. Hair car is SLOW as hell. D: You should practice blocking low if you have issues doing so. I was tired, but it's still dumb that it's a low.
unsanctifier Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 She has no damage output, she needs godlike mixup. Which she has, so all is fair in the world
The Katz Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I was tired, but it's still dumb that it's a low. I edited the post. Please reread it.
Delrian Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 She has no damage output, she needs godlike mixup. Which she has, so all is fair in the world ...mk, fine. Just saying I don't like her. Then again I don't really like anyone in the GG cast... The main reason I've been playing A.B.A is the unique mode deal.
The Katz Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 COMBOS ARE EVERYTHING TO ME!!!!!!!!!!! Sit in training mode all day and put out videos, then. If they WERE everything, then you would ;D
LunaKage Posted March 11, 2011 Author Posted March 11, 2011 Sit in training mode all day and put out videos, then. If they WERE everything, then you would ;D I AM WAITING UNTIL I GET 6 MORE SUBBERS SO I CAN RELEASE MY 100th VIDEO IN CELEBRATION OF MY 100th SUBBER!!!!!!!!!
Delrian Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I AM WAITING UNTIL I GET 6 MORE SUBBERS SO I CAN RELEASE MY 100th VIDEO IN CELEBRATION OF MY 100th SUBBER!!!!!!!!! wait what? Also, Del, in the great words of my GG mentor: "Defense takes time. You may be able to get combos and FRC's down, but learning how to block takes time." It seems like common knowledge to me, but saying it anyway. Listen to Canada. Spacing is something to work on if you aren't good at it. Know what normals are fast and which have good range, and use in the appropriate situations. Noted, Unsanct's been handing out advice like a pro (thanks are in order btw). Sometimes I just don't know what to practice in training mode, so I end up grinding combos. It's why my neutral game sucks terribly.

unsanctifier Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Npz Delrian. Sadly training mode doesn't help at all wiht how to play the game =\ It's all playing against other people, you, Leo, and Toasty should gather more and anyone else who wants to play GG (Kenta can probably show you a bit)
The Katz Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 (edited) Npz Delrian. Sadly training mode doesn't help at all wiht how to play the game =\ This. So true... Ironically, I have spent at least 75% of my time on Blazblue in training mode. 25% was playing matches, and I have (roughly) 525-ish hours worth put into that. ;>.> Maybe more. Anyway, if you haven't looked up any match videos Del, I'd recommend doing so. Watching Kaqn getting worked by a Zappa player helped me get started pretty well, so you might get lucky and find your favorite matches/player. Edit: I need life get. Toasty Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I just watched the first 37 minutes of the pre-MM drive vid, and I approve of the Arizona joke, Skye. I would say that we should record the car ride for my car, but this is pretty much all that happens: -Pick up Sydog first. -Pick up Proto. Proto talks about random stuff. -Get to Jay's house. Proto still is talking about random stuff. -Take the highway for a little bit until we get to Jago's. Proto is still talking. -Get back on the highway for the long stretch on the way to Ann Arbor. Everyone is silent. -I look in the rearview mirror for a split-second to find out that everyone is asleep. -Everyone remains asleep for the entire time on the highway, and they only wake up once we're in the city (which is the end of the drive).
LunaKage Posted March 11, 2011 Author Posted March 11, 2011 A husband comes home from work one day, and he finds his wife crying her eyes out, just balling. Husband: Whats wrong? Wife: I was cleaning our daughters room today, and I found all sorts of chains, whips, sex toys and bondage magazines. He stares at her bewildered and in disbelief, his wife still in tears, looks at him dead in the eye, and in a voice of someone who has lost all hope asks him: Wife: What do we do? He takes a step back, and gets lost in thought, he clearly cannot believe what has been presented to him, he looks back at his wife and says: Husband: Well I guess a spanking is out of the question.
unsanctifier Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 my favourite part of my MI visit was avoiding the cougar story!!!
